SFO is great place to go ; wide open with a long coast that gives you a lot of sea and the sun.The urban scene too is interesting with a mix of tourist kitsch and historical architecture .
I am so intrigued by both the music and this woman’s accent. I cannot make heads or tails of when this is even from because it sounds very old but the video quality seems newer.
@Janet P At first, her unfamiliar accent and speech patterns - soft consonants, lack of emphasis on last words of sentences- made me think so, too. Then I realized I responded that way because I’m mentally comparing her delivery to what I normally hear in travel videos about US cities. True, the script isn’t exactly sparkling, but it’s o.k. when you consider that you may be making that judgment because she sounds so “different.” Try listening for a few minutes and see what you think.
Wonder if its still safe for orientals to visit, post pandemic. Going next week. So if you dont see a response for my experiences, ill see if there is wifi in the heavens. Wish me lady lucks!
Somebody didn’t do their homework. Lombard isn’t even the crookedest street in SF, much less the world, although it’s definitely worth a look. It’s pretty dang picturesque. (But why is it a “Romantic Moment”? Must be a secret.) Vermont Street in Potrero Hill is more sinuous. I double-checked to be sure.

@Tianx You should get out more. Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam, Venice- every beautiful city in the world has poor, depressing neighborhoods. Why would you go to arguably the worst part of SF and judge the rest of the city based on that?
