This is the second installment in a series of videos about the derelict Department of Animal Care and Control in San Francisco, this one focusing on that department’s failure to properly manage the risks posed by vicious and dangerous dogs in the City.

(Omitted from the video is a January 4, 2018 email from Animal Care and Control Deputy Director Diana Christensen to Hearing Officer John Denny suggesting that he contact Sacramento County authorities directly about vacating his destruction order on the dog Hudson. Mr. Denny had to advise Deputy Director Christensen that not only was this not proper procedure, but that she was in fact proposing to a hearing officer that he engage in illicit ex parte communications about a case.)
