San Gimignano, elevation 324m is a walled, medieval Italian hill town in Tuscany, southwest of Florence. Its 13th- century walls and skylines of medieval towers are better appreciated from above. A fictional version of the town is featured in the video game Assassin's Creed II from 2009.
