Really enjoyed your video! Going there in a few weeks. Were you glad you rented a car or do you wish you had just shuttled everywhere? I've heard the roads are in rough shape and trying to decide between the options.
Enjoy!! We are definitely happy we rented a car, but it depends if you want to spend more time at the resort or more time outside of it. Our resort had pretty limited times for free shuttles to the city, and scheduled ones were expensive. If you are just going to do some excursions with a tour group you are probably fine to get away without one, but if you want to go to some more one off places I’d recommend a car, the worst roads were actually right from our resort haha, besides that they weren’t that bad.
