When shown theatrically, a brief "tag" featuring the name and address of "Your Local Chevrolet Dealer" would appear at the end.

Hearst castle was made with poured reinforced concrete not stone by stone brought in from Italy. True many pieces such as fireplaces, carved ceilings, choir stalls, marble statuary were brought from Europe which make this a one of a kind castle, or ranch house as Hearst called it, but the video is not accurate such as calling the town Louie instead of Luis! Neat to see the film from around the county though.

Funny how even to this day people in other parts of the country pronounce San Luis Obispo as San Luiee Obispo, which is a French pronunciation of the name Luis. As the advertisement states, California was a Spanish colony; the origin of the city name is Spanish and it’s correct pronunciation is phonetically Loo-eece; “San Loo-eece (Luis) Obispo.” Sorry folks. If the Spanish founded Louisiana it would be pronounced “Loo-eeceiana” not Luieesiana. Funny.

I've lived here for 26 years... everybody simply pronounces it "San Lewis" and usually leave off the "Obispo". 🤷

I corrected many people calling it San Louiee.
