Went for a quick session and fast limit. Found a gap in between this windy day to get some stripers on what works for me which are the same two lures. Why change what works?
“If it ain’t broken”. 1hr 10min to get limit is working for you. Thought the first fish was a monster with that big take down but just like you said, it’s better eating size. Nice video again. Gotta find time to come meet you up there.
Right!? It works and I feel like I’m cheating because I’m not testing out other lures/colors because these work so well. If that wind didn’t pick up I would have got to my spot even earlier haha. Man these stripers fight so hard for their sized, so much power I get fooled all the time on their sized. Yeah man join me at SLR if it’s a calm we can get on fish. I have so many waypoints now. I think I’m getting used to where they are at now at this end of the lake and what they bite on and the color that works on sunny days and overcast days. Thanks!
Freshwater I don’t mind, if you see me say hello and I don’t mind fishing with others. If ocean I say get used to your kayak and skill plus balancing from waves before going into the ocean and self rescue because if you fall in it can get dangerous. But I fish SLR normally till ocean calms down or till rockfish season opens
