A fire tore through a pet grooming business in #SanMarcos early this morning, leaving one person hospitalized.
The blaze was first reported shortly before 1 AM in the 1200 block of W San Marcos Boulevard. Crews from the #SanMarcos, #Vista, and #Carlsbad fire departments worked to fight the flames that burned at the Petite Pet Parlour.
One person, who may be a resident of a mobile home park near the scene, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The business has been operating in the city since 1974, according to its website. It's wasn't immediately clear whether or not the structure was a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
