San Martin SN0109 | Awesome Black Bay GMT Homage 

I bought this one about a year ago and it still impresses me to this day. It was my first SM and it made me want to buy more of their watches. I was slightly worried about how it would look on my 17cm wrist (L2L sounds a bit "scary" on paper), but thanks to the female end-links I can pull it off. However (and I must've commented on this in multiple other videos before): It seems that the NH34 has a general problem with GMT-hand alignment. Mine is off by roughly 7 minutes - meaning when the GMT-hand sits on the "full hour" position, the minute hand will be at around 7 minutes before full hour. But this deviation isn't consistent but will vary depending on what time is displayed - it might be off by 7 minutes in some positions, while it'll be off by a bit less or a bit more in others ... but it *is* always off. I showed it to my watch-maker and he thought that re-setting/re-applying the hands won't help because, in his opinion, this is an issue with the movement itself. Looking at ~ 3:00 where you set the time and pausing at 3:08 when the GMT-hand hits full hour (12oc in this case), I think yours has a similar issue. The minute hand shows around 4 and a half, 5 mins til full when the GMT-hand is on the 12oc-index. I've also seen this sort of thing on many other NH34-equipped GMT-watches from all sorts of brands on YT, so I don't think San Martin's work or QC are to blame here. All that said: It doesn't really bother me, considering how much this watch gets right for how little money. I used to own a Steinhart Pussy Galore that cost me more than double of the SM, and that watch only came with a 120-click, unidirectional bezel for example - not a proper GMT-bezel.

This is quite possibly my favourite San Martin to date. Very impressive camera work and editing for such a new channel. Keep the videos coming!

Have this watch with the opaline dial, and I think I’ll buy a second with the black dial. This watch was a pleasant surprise. Great fit and finish. I have a Tudor pelagos 39, and this San Martin feels 95% as good as the Tudor. The movement isn’t quite as good, but it’s completely acceptable and cheap to repair.

I own a Tudor. Adding another Tudor to the collection in December. I'd rather have this SM over the Tudor GMT, because it is a better size.

I have the white dial one……this is a great watch ! I have nothing negative to say about it at all….very comfortable and you forget you are wearing it!Mine came with a “push” adjustment on clasp….sort of like a glide lock style.

Can you conpare to the sn0005b? Good review by the way
