In terms of the finish and comfort of the watches' cases and bracelets, how do they differ between material? Would you say that either if finished to a higher standard and/or more comfortable to wear?
The titanium is lighter in weight but the stainless steel is more comfortable to wear in my opinion due to its weight they’re both finished to the same quality standard but for me. The sweet spot it’s between 130 and 150 g titanium is nice but feels cheap because of the lack of weight the titanium is holding up better to scratches though
SORRY all Titanium Watches are lighter, but not Cold as Steel, i like with others the Feeling no heavy weight on my arm. The Colour looks Techikal, but not Cheap. My last 3 Watches are only Titan Watches Omega , Sinn and Tudor ...180 Gramm and more / Chrograph 230 Steel are not Comfortabel for me. But everbody has his own Style and Meaning which Watches are Great.
Your case measurements ought only include: case diameter; case thickness (including crystal); lug-to-lug distance; lug width. When measuring case diameter on a watch featuring crown guards, place the calliper at the 10 and 4 o'clock (or conversely, 8 and 2 o'clock) position. Regarding the bezel, the size is only important if its presence increases the overall diameter of the watch on the wrist, as sometimes the bezel is larger than the case and has an overhang. Perhaps the crown's diameter might also be relevant, but the crown guard size is unnecessary. I wonder, four months on, what your opinion is of the titanium iteration's durability. Did you keep them both, or what?
Yes. I still have both watches. The titanium is not as scratch resistant as they say but it is holding up well. I prefer the stainless steel for the extra weight. I will try to do better about getting the measurements that people care about. I’m still learning
Sir, that comment was one of the sweetest ones I’ve ever heard on a beginners channel. She accepted your critique very well. It was your thoroughness in instructions that blew me away. That took your time. I so appreciate this little hobby/obsession we’re in. Yes, trolls are such tiny little people..nuff said. But it’s the willingness to teach each other that I think is the secret to being a genuine enthusiast. Thanks again for such an awesome comment.
All at the watches that I review have either been bought & paid for by this channel or loaned to the channel by viewers. I have not received any compensation for any watch review
Nice review and comparison. I own the stainless steel version and am quite pleased with it. I also own several other San Martin watches, and have had no complaints. I'm happy to see a new face doing watch reviews and just subscribed. I look forward to more of your reviews.
