i play in a lot of humidity and i've learned to hate herringbone. i keep them spotless and shaven and it stops like it's 2. i have a wizard l and it's the only herringbone i have that doesn't play that way for me. the rest will roll often because of how much the slow side grabs.

I just had that experience this past weekend with meltdowns. They played perfect in the cooler, earlier part of the day. Once the moisture hit, they hit the brakes.

Mike, what are your thoughts on the Underworld Slyps?

Not mike, but I do own a set. Material wise very similar to buffaloes fallout x, Mx meltdown, viper x(corners are more rounded then viper x) Fast side is the variant of viper fast and herringbone slow. So a 9/6-4 speed wise. Medium template , not very full (wizard L feels similar),and mostly flat fill. Stays straight if you keep it clean but once get dirty and slow down they will kick if there is tilt on your bag. They roll and cut well. Underworld also released the SCAM recently and is wizard L materials but with a mixed fill.
