Akira Toriyama must be one of the most iconic modern artists ☺️ his stuff is always so cheerful and charming.

Bro..this gives me such heavy flashbacks to playing blue dragon as a kid. i dont think its the same creators but man...

Town building was one of my favorite parts of games like Ys VIII, Ni No Kuni 2, and the Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion. I know there's more I've played that see you building your town, but it's something I find myself connecting with pretty easily. Seeing a positive change you're making in the world is just such an engaging part of those games (or just seeing a hard worker like Geralt find a place to call home).

Heck this game totally came out of nowhere and blew my mind. Really looks fun and has an instant classic feeling just looking at the gameplay. Definitely deserved to be preordered!

I suggest reading the Sand Land manga by Akira Toriyama. It's quite short, just 14 chapters. Where? MangaLife. Excited for the game.

This kinda reminds me of Dark Cloud 2 a bit. Love the mecha, tanks, and city/house buidling aspects. This is an amazingly fleshed out game and looks fun, and I will definitely put a ton of hours into it thanks to all the customization.

An aspect of town building? Sign me up!

*Fun Fact:* In one of the panels of _Sand Lands,_ there is a throwaway gag where an actual PS6 is found inside the box by Belzeebub, alongside with _Dragon Quest 13._ Imagine if the game releases by the time the real PS6 comes out.

Man, between the town building, Metal Slug meets Dragon Ball world scope, and actually enjoyable voice work, this will probably be my most played game this year (unless FF7 Rebirth is actually as big as it looks). Regardless, I love what I've seen here. The art style is so perfect and it's genuinely looking like one of the best manga adaptations ever made 😍

I like how it has that arcade, cartoony vibe of older games, but with a great art direction and modern gameplay mechanics. Of course, not to mention the design of Master Toryama.

Something about Toriyama Akira art style made me think this is another turn-based JRPG game. This is much more interesting than I thought. I’ll be keeping a close eyes on launch.
