UTV Racing in the Sand Outlaw Racing Series held in Glamis, CA. First racing event in the last 10yrs hosted on Oldsmobile Hill. 4 classes of UTV racing to include Grudge Matches. Yamaha versus Polaris versus CanAm and even an Arctic Cat.
@@dunemandave You know, I have had the same thought but I am not sure. A lot of the original SxS chassis, bodywork, components, and suspension are still there. You also see lots of other big power sand drag SxSs that are 2wd. So, where do you draw the line? Does a snowmobile engine make it not a SxS? How about a street bike engine? Does it have to have a CVT? The Tallon and Yamaha don't come with a CVT. I can definitely see the argument that a car engine and Powerglide make it not a SxS, but where is the cuttoff?
@@sam_s_ I am sure they have a rule book with different modifications allowed for different classes. Most big name builders take pride in building the stock engine stuff. But I wouldn't be surprised if there was an unlimited class for 2JP too
Good coverage of the races, good job. Only thing missing for me was info as to what class and position each race was. Thanks for posting the video . Just simply badass vehicles
any stock machine could beat SxS 2JP in a timed 1/8 mile drag race because it takes them 3-4 sec to get it up on the 2 step! there reaction time would be laughable!
