QuickTip for costumes: get a hat I think is called Capello Romano, which is very wide-brimmed. The reason for this is that you can make a lot of types of hat out of this if you fold the brim in a specific way, e.g. fold one side up and you have a musketeer hat.

Wait isn't that like a priest hat??

I made some throwing Stars together with my cousins and my Sister, and we used hot glue stick slices to make it heavier and stable in the Air, and put some weapon foam (ironically not the cheap one, but the stars were colored really bright) around it. We also made Daggers out of Foam and a hot glue rod/stick in the middle, to give it a little rigidity, while not getting hard. The same thing i did to the End of my sword, to make it really thrust-safe.

Basically, Hot glue is really good as a core for smaller LARP-weapons, and to fill in any spaces you have inside your bigger weapons, to prevent them from wobbling.

Like the idea of using hotglue as a "core"
