I have to say when you guys sparked up, thats when the party began. Thank you so much for your words and your thoughts. Phillipine Boa! Yes she is crazy popular over there before she moved back to Korea and became a part of 2ne1. It is because of Dara, many Filipinas will say they found kpop through her. YES she had a bad year. But Dara never gives up. She works hard to support her mom, sister and brother but she loves what she does. You see the 2ne1 streak in her and although we missing all the girls, she and they are survivors and will never be forgotten.

Well yeah Dara is really famous here in Philippines she's really the BOA of the Philippines, she's the only artist here in the Philippines that uses helicopter just to be on her schedules and be on events, she's a queen that avoids a heavy traffic and dont give a fxxk cause she need to work a lot of schedules in a day. Like imaging yourself going to your work using a helicopter what would you feel? OMG. anyways looking forward for your next contents!
Fast forward to 2020 and all your prophecies have come true. The girl is still slaying it in the industry, being on the top richest female idol list for the past consecutive years. Still bagging endorsements and cover pages, being on a slew of variety shows as emcee and getting good ratings too, starring in several indie movies plus a boxoffice hit mainstream movie. Her latest was a musical stage show that also did very well on the tills (in spite of the pandemic). Yes, she was not the best voice onstage but she was not a pushover either and she got good reviews from her peers and critic. After all, not very many idols can do live musicals. :) Dara's marketability is no joke, as her professional connections. Ah and our girls are still thoroughly connected despite YG disbandment, I'm sure you know that.

I personally had watched her journey on tv in the reality show called "Star Circle Quest", she won first place with over 1.5M text votes. Sandara was already well-known in the Philippines even before she signed up with YG and became a member of 2ne1... she joined a star search contest, was a runner-up, did a few movies, some commercials and recorded a few songs... she was better known as Sandy or Krung Krung... a big reason why 2ne1 was an instant hit for Filipinos is coz of her :)
ItsKpoping yaaaaaas Star Cirlce Quest! I love her! I was in 4th or 5th grade back then.. I want her to win but she didnt win.. Made me mad, but still I was a fan since then.. She’s also the reason why kpop is popular in the Philippines.. literally everytime 2ne1 will release a new song/mv.. it debuts to number 1 right away..
Right!! She doesn’t get enough credit in korea due to her vocals but she’s really talented! And totally deserves everything she has. 2ne1 was just on another level of grown woman Sh*t! And there will never be another like them.

Fine! Fine! Fine! Love your reaction girls. Sandara started out as a budding shy celebrity in the Philippines before going back to Korea and before KPOP broke out. You see Filipinos have seen her sort of mature, and some have been her fans right from the start, hence the reaction.
The dancers she was with are called "G-force" they're actually considered group entertainers themselves and have built a pretty good reputation in the Philippines by being innovative and fierce dancers. They have their own concerts and shows as well. I think the outfit choices looked good. Dara was always viewed as a simple down to earth artist in the Philippines I think the look she presented proved she didn't need too many props or costumes or that tall hair to stand out. i'm sure they tried on her the boots look and ultimately settled for the stilettos and fishnet stockings (it does give me the Bom vibes). I was going to complain why the t-shirt has to be torn but I think she was also giving us subtle 2ne1 tribute - i can enumerate a lot, actually but it could just be my 2ne1 heart. They have this performance where they were wearing torn shirts (but they covered them with jackets). The t-shirt look is a signature concept of the dance company that did this choreography (self-promo, eh?) though I have to say it matches the Kiss concept (including the wet hair). :) you guys are great!
