dara is not filipino. she is a full blood korean. living in the Philippines, she auditioned for a filipino reality show called star circle quest and became the 2nd place because her love team hero angeles is the 1st place. she is very popular in the Philippines, she did movies and albums, she is known as the "PAMBANSANG KRUNG" (NATIONAL CRAZY) whatever haha..because she is so fun to watch, energetic and cute.after her father left them and had another family they go back to korea and she trained for yg entertainment and became one of the members of 2ne1, yeah she has a career still in PH we will always love sandy.

That's not the reason they went back to Korea. From the very beginning Sandara wanted to have a career in Korea but instead she had one in the Philippines (she's a kpop fan when she was younger). Amidst her showbiz career in the Philippines YG having learned about her popularity here he got in touch with her and thereafter she undergone training in YG starting 2005, when YG offered a contract to her in 2007 that's when she decided to drop her career in Philippines and decided to move back in Korea with her family. She simply chose to have a kpop idol career in Korea which she always wanted.

Sandara Park is really famous here in the Philippines since like 2003, and she left her popularity and everything here in the Philippines to be in Korea. and she was trained for just almost 1year and 6months (the shortest in kpop history i think) because she is already experienced and exposed a lot, and her co-members trained for like 6years. She's actually the reason why kpop boom in the whole world, because she have a massive amount of fans here in ph that supports her all the time. At the time she was still here in the Philippines, because of her busy schedule she doesn't ride Cars, Bus, or Train. Her Entertainment agency just rent her a own helicopter for just her to ride everyday. If you're a Filipino you would think she is a legit Filipino tho 😃.
