This chant is part of the Maha Narayano Upanishad (Narayana Upanishad / Narayana Valli), Taittireeya Shakha of Yajur Veda and it is rendered by Sri Govind Prakash Ghanapati, Sri Satyanarayana Bhat & Sri K. Suresh.
Few Sandhya Vandana related Mantras are appearing in Upanishad.
We are reciting those Mantras in the same order.
This will help the listener to understand the correct pronunciation and its swaras.
The procedure or the purpose of this Mantra is given.
Mantras in Sanskrit and English with swaras are also given for easy understanding.

This chant changed my life drastically , after few months of doing Sandhyavandanam according to this chant , i got my specs off my eyes and lathargy was wiped off . Feeling divine and happy now. To be honest , i have seen red - yellow -white sun rising within clouds and sometimes at horizon over the sea in MY DREAMS !!!! Yes it's strange but true!

The sound or shabda of a mantra is the major part meaning is minor. Even some mantras have no meaning like the beej sounds like hreem, kleem etc.

Do you chant all these mantras or few of them? For example the last part "kamo karsheet is not chanted in daily sandya vandanam".

@@liklik8180 These mantras are quite different (Tamil Nadu brahmin type) but few similar...In Andhra and Karnataka there are different ways of sandhyavandana along with mantras for both rigveda and yajurveda..kamo karshin is recited at last part of sandhyavandana

Is it rigvedi sandhya? Or yajurvediya? Since i perform sarth rigvedi sandhya, some of mantras are very different and surya arghya pradanam is most important in sandhya.

sir namaskaram with due respects i have been doing sandhya vandanam after retirement work The book on sandhyvandanam by Giri which i have been following but i have also look in to book by Lifco who hsa been publishing book on sadhyavandanam may be more than 60 years they are slightly different from giri Lifco book has written to do nyasa in prasanam arghyapradhanam after navagraha tharppanam how to do that which part of body to be touched

Harih om: Sir Nnamaskaaram, I've a Yajurveda Sandhyavandhanam book which was given by my grandfather. In that book, The aavahana mantra "Gayatrim chandasaam-brahma jushasvame-Ojosi sahosi-Sarasvatim Aavayahami" like that it ends. In your clip it shows some more mantras. Is this applicable for Yajur veda Sandhya Vandhanam! Please guide me sir🙏
