In 2004, Sandra Day O'Connor, the first female member of the U.S. Supreme Court, told Scott Pelley how her appointment to the country's highest bench had an "incredible ripple effect" for women. The retired associate justice died today at the age of 93.

Just think every liberal news organization reporting on this and President Biden(s!) did not mention that President Ronald Reagan nominated her to SCOTUS in the first place????

I read her book The Majesty of the Law and fell so in love with many passages, as well as her legal philosophy. As a Democrat, I did not agree with some of her opinions, but I did appreciate her rationale in those opinions. She explained to the nation why affirmative action was necessary and why it needed to be limited in time and scope.

When I contrast the extraordinary character, intellect and integrity of Justice O'Conner or First Lady Rosalynn Carter to current pathetic women leaders such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and other women MAGA-Trump supporters, it is disgusting and scary.

Reagan WAS happy with his choice while he was in office, as O'Connor voted nine times out of ten with Justice William Rehnquist (whom she dated in law school); but he would have been very UNHAPPY when after he left office she voted to uphold abortion, including partial birth abortion. Of course, today the Supreme Court has overturned Roe V Wade, but it would have happened decades earlier if O'Connor had followed Reagan's counsel that the unborn had the right to life.

God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.

@MohAmeDALArabY-cg6sr
@MohAmeDALArabY-cg6sr 6 месяцев назад
Certainly yes, so you must get to know God in order to love Him too. He created us for a reason that He knows. This life is just a passage to the life of eternity after death. It is just a test and you must pass it in order to escape the torment of life and the torment after death.
