Hope people have been enjoying the video! Not sure how or why this video suddenly got a surge of bots, but for now I have managed to report them all. Hopefully that’ll be the end of it as in all honestly, I don’t want to be doing a bit clear every time I upload a video 😬
This actually feels like a genuine way for GW to keep Primarchs in the setting without over using the "and then they just came back" story. Sanguinius's death is important, and bringing him back would feel cheap. Dante is well loved within the community, so I can't see people taking much issue with this, but as for Mephiston, as you have said, he seems a bit 50/50 in his popularity. Would be cool to see this play out, well done on this video!
Thanks! Yeah, the idea of "they just came back" isn't great, but to be honest, I think GW does a very good job of bringing back the Primarchs so far. I just figured that with Sanguinius it would need to be something special, and Dante and Mephiston seem like perfect candidates for it.
If this does become a new way to bring back "Primarchs", then I can imagine that Ferrus would be next to get this kind of treatment. Though honestly, I just like idea of it keeping things fresh. Now Ferrus as the Primarch of the Legion of the Damned, that'll be cool to see!
A Ferrus as the Primarch of the Legion of the Damned would be so cool to have, and the hints that he was are good enough to try roll with a theory, though I imagine someone has already covered the topic, and probably much better than I.
Personally would like to see more videos like this, your other stuff is good, but your break downs of these theories is very well done. Not just focusing on the theory, but actually giving proper lore examples instead of just saying expecting people to know these things.
Yeah, I do tend to have more fun making these types of videos, but they don't have take some time to make! I want to focus on this stuff a little more, but trying to keep up with a weekly schedule would probably go right out the window!
Thank you so much for saying this, I really do appreciate it! Feel free to share the video around if you haven't already! Anything to help grow the channel and the communiity is very welcome!
Mephiston is not a Mary Sue and never has been. Crippling self doubt and imposter syndrome automatically negate any claims that he is. Dante has the same things and so did Sang that's the whole point and the reason these 2 characters can house his warp gods.
And unfortuantely people always seem to lable him as such. 40k is meant to be absurd, these characters are meant to have this insane moments. It happens everywhere, but for some reason I kept seeing Mephiston get a lot of grief for it.
@@InquisitorJoshua Yea he always has man. Blood angels were my first chosen 40k army at like 10 -12 and that was like 25 years ago and Mephiston was still getting shit back then. I always loved the edge lord supreme though. His modern books are awesome and I cannot wait to see where they go with this Gold/Black angel plotline. I think you are basically right and they are angling at some duel demi primarch tier sitch. Or the other cool thing would be if Dante and Meph are destined to become the Gold/Black angels in their futures.
@@samhobbs9116 I love a bit/loads of edginess in 40k. It’s perfect setting for it. It’s probably the aspect of 40k that got most of us into is as kids anyway. That’s actually a really good thought. Much like Loken was always going to be Samus, Dante and Mephiston could very well turn up to have always been the Golden and Black Angel. Essentially having always made them part of Sanguinius.
@@InquisitorJoshua Urgh don't mention the Loken and Samus thing, reminds me way too much of the "end times" fantasy novels. Literally anyone could have been Samus that was so lame. Yes essentially because by becoming it in the future means they were always there in those forms out in the galaxy.
