Reminder, liking cute stuff or certain things from Japan is okay! It is not considered fetishizing. As an Asian, as long as it isn’t taken too far as to Asianfishing, etc., then it’s totally okay!
@bell c@t asianfishing is when you pretend to be asian when you’re really not. this goes for all races. Sadly, people don’t realize the harm and stereotyping they use when the do this.
@a q venia a la cocina its wrong because most people are very disrespectful and stereotypical when people do it, and it normally involves people making their eyes smaller and doing rlly racist stuff while pretending to be asian. it also ends up in using asian culture as an aesthetic and its just wrong
I am to. I hate sanrio fans who haven't even watched the og shows. Those idiots who watched the new crappy one. And like " So KaWaIi" I grew up with sanrio lol
Hello! Any people here who learned Japanese? I am 12 and i wanna spend some years learning Japanese because when I’m older I’ll go to Japan and try out snacks and more. Does someone have tips? ☺️
Hi! I am still learning Japanese but I think that a good place to start is the Genki textbook for vocab and grammar and the app WriteJapanese to help with stroke order on hiragana and katakana! :)
So I have a friend learning Japanese and I remember her saying konnichiwa is like the greeting for the afternoon I think but yoshi yosh or moshi mosh means hello (I am sorry if I'm wrong)
Something I noticed since I started to learn Japanese is that a lot of the r's are pronounced as D's. And adding san or kun after somebody's name isn't a cute little thing to say but it shows respect! Hope that helpsฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
