ismael1235100 I totally agree! Sansa gradually became my favourite character throughout the whole series and Sophie Turner did an amazing job portraying her development from an innocent child to a battered yet persevering, strong and kind woman.

i actually think she had more development than arya because sansa changed and grew a lot as a person whereas arya remained the same through it all. Arya’s development was really only in her ability to fight whilst sansa developed from a “stupid little girl who never learns” to the queen in the north

Em Lew so true! Sophie character had the most character development on the show than anyone really. Absolutely Maisie character definitely had most character development in fighting, but I think it was shitty of the writers to built up her character just to not use it at the end. All that fighting was for almost nothing except for when she avenge Catelyn and rob killer ❤️

@@porg3477 Hmm, I wonder if you thought Jon was a bitch when he refused to bend the knee to Dany for 99% of season 7. I mean, he repeated the same valid arguments Sansa used. He and the North had their reasons to not bow to a foreigner, and Sansa wasn't going to just give up the North to a complete stranger just because her brother fell in love with her. Jon trusted her with a secret, and she was going to keep it. Literally nothing showed us she had plans to tell Tyrion or anyone else. It wasn't until Tyrion showed Sansa that he was _afraid_ of Daenerys, that she realized her wariness of Daenerys had merit. Which is the _only_ reason why she told. She wanted to protect her family and the North from a tyrant. Whether you agree with what she did or not, Sansa did it to protect those she cared about and to keep her people safe, that was her goal. If that makes her a bitch, well so be it.

Good for Sansa to get the North's independence. The Six Kingdoms looks like a mess to be governed and held as one entity in Westeros. Queen in the North will do well compared the the Six Kingdoms.

From a Bicycle seat but she was never going to like her. Dany rules with fear and Sansa was very adamant about the north never kneeling to any other foreign power again. She knew she was a terrible ruler because she’s been around good and bad Queens. Cersei and Margery. She knows the difference. Sansa was never going to be in a world where she liked Dany. She wanted to push her out of power anyway she could.

Sansa spoke to protect Jon, so that he'd have allies closeby when Dany would have won. She didn't get thousands of people killed, Dany did. Plus Ned would be turning in his grave far before, for Jon told his secret, the same secret he had kept a lifetime. Ned didn't even tell his wife. First thing Jon did with the secret was to tell Daenerys !

I honestly think she was so successful because she learned from the best. She watched Cersei, Olenna, Petyr, and even Ramsay and crafted her own style of gameplay that took the best aspects of each of her "instructors" and minimized the negatives. That takes some serious brain skills and its what turned her into my favorite character

The only ruler who pointed out small issues in the whole series. Food, grain, leather on the armor, gates held open for as long as they can for the people to have as much time as they can have to pass into Winterfell. When the wars are over, this is a ruler people need

@@imrandma from pressing Jon, calling the Vale to confronting Dany- she did whatever was necessary to secure the North and kept her mouth sealed when needed. Her whole arc is about taking careful steps in order to survive, she did the same with the North. Sometimes not doing everything explicitly and violently, not showing you're all mighty is the wisest of things. She isn't physically powerful nor has dragons. You cannot expect her to "do" something like Jon, Arya or Dany does. Don't be silly.

@@Secondaccount31 not literally, I guess, but she convinced Jon to fight for Winterfell and not searching for some other place to live (before the letter from Ramsay about Rickon), she brought knights of the Vale to the Battle of Bastards (I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for her Littlefinger could let Jon loose and dealing with Boltons further and knghts would've know that there was a battle after). She fought for the North independence from the beginning when Jon even didn't consider to bend the knee for Deny and then, when he did it, she still fought with his decision and with her. And then she literally (with Bran's help but still) made North independent kingdom once and forever. She fought the way she could - with words and not warrior actions, not with the sword but with her brain and words. Not my favorite character but she's quite impressive, I think.

Controversial obviously when she and Jon teamed up to take back their home.

Controversial - She got the North back from the Boltons. She stood up to the Dragon Queen in defense of the North while everyone else knelt to a tyrant. When did she not fight for the North would be a more accurate question.

@@KHH595 Exactly. Without Sansa the North would now be in the hands of either the Boltons or the Night King. She fought more than anyone else other than Jon did for the North, and always looked out for its best interests.

She was threatening to Greyworm saying that there's thousands northmen who will fight for Jon Snow and the only thing that stoped her from threaten further is the fact that most of her people will die fighting with Unsullied. So she and Arya and Bran gave Jon almost freedom. Yes, he can't visit 6 Kingdoms but I'm pretty sure that Queen in the North and King of 6 Kingdoms both can "inspect" the wall and meet their cousin whenever they like to. Plus Jon didn't want to rule anyway anywhere so it's okay for him to be with Free Folk, not very much a punishment. She was agreed to kneeling for her father's life and she was proud highborn girl who's probably never kneeling in front of anybody. She did a lot of things but haters probably will never agree to any of this. I'm not Sansa-stanner, btw, but I'm quite impressed with her character's evolving.
