Not all battles are won by swords.

She won by backstabbing, manipulating and basically becoming the a weird mix between Cersei and LT. Hurting people who came to help her and her shitty north including her “brother when she needed him then bastard to be send to the “wall” by now another kingdom”, I mean she wanted him away for what do you ask independence and risk your people being burned if once a Queen you can’t take your beloved bastard brother home. As someone will care if she is beyond the wall or in Winterfell. Then again I never liked Snow and I’m glad he will live miserable remembering what he did. So I’m glad he is out there with savages where he belongs. But I rooted for Sansa since the begging, and hoped for her either became the lady of Winterfell or Queen in The North, it would have been nice to have two neighbor Queens. But the last season ruined her personage, then again all of them were ruined they had to trash Dany to finish the show but I hoped that they would have not trashed Sansa after all she went trough I wanted her to succeed in her revenge and in ruling Winterfell as the eldest Stark and really wanted at least something good in the ending, seeing her her win without intrigues and betrayals, but not even that… She even ruined Brienne happiness the woman who fought for her …by not so discreetly telling Jaime that Cersei is about to became a barbecue, she wanted him out of Winterfell without caring about her probably only friend, no wonder Brienne left to never return). So yeah I guess the Sansa I liked was left in the S6 yet she already started playing “the game of thrones” in just like LT thought her.

@@Saffiasingh yep and LT is the proof of it he won many battles without using a sword but manipulation I hope that the new Little Finger really learned all his lessons including him losing his final battle and will not get pushed in to a marriage with some old lord or end up dealing with a rebellion because she is a woman and because she declined said Lord marriage proposal.

It's so easy when you have plot armor. You can even betray powerful queen without any risk.

Lol. Sansa did not want to be THE queen. She wanted to be married to the king. A supportive rule, not the one in power. You knew who did want to be the ruler? Daenerys, Renly, Margaret, Cersi, Littlefinger and many others. Sansa wanted a fairy tale life and a family of her own. Also Sansa did not betray her father. At all. She was the only Stark child to try and protect him. She literally got on her knees to bag for his life. Sansa journey is of a little girl who was raised in a patriarchal society. Where she was taught that the only thing she could have any dreams or goals of is to have a good marriage and to have babies to carry on her husband’s line. She was expected to shift her loyalties to her husband and take on his family's honor and legacy. Which is what women back in the early days of our own world was taught to do as well. They were raised to knew to obey their fathers and to obey their husband's when they married. They were raise with the beliefs that as females they were only good enough to carry on their husband's legacy and name, and not really apart of their birth family line. That is why baby girls were not as desired as male children. They brought nothing to their birth family, only alliances through their wombs for a generation or so if they had male children for their husband's. They also were intentionally left ignorant of a lot of things. That way their husband and his family could shape them into what they wanted their wifes to be like. Little girls where not taught to embrace their birth family or to have true loyalty to them. Sansa's trials in her life taught her what it truly ment to her own personhood and her own safety and happiness to be subordinate to someone else's ambitions and dreams. Funny enough she still up until the very last few minutes in the last episode kept trying to give any power she had gain to others.

In reality nobody cares who deserved. It's only matter who have a force.

When you see the downfall of the people in power who abused you, you learn what not to do. She learned that power doesn't come from being harmless, it comes from having the capabilities of being a monster, but taming that with discipline and wisdom. It was shown through her hesitance in kill Joffrey, I think from that moment on her eyes opened to the monstrous side within herself. She however, nurtured this monster and tamed it, instead of running rampant of the likes of Ramsey, Cersei, Joffrey, or Little finger. She saw how that lead to their demise.
