@@spongegarr6235 Well,it's not so horrendous in the books,Tyrion is like 30 if I recall and also Sansa is a bit younger,she starts as 11. I mean it's still big,but in the end of the show Sansa is like 18,I guess while her character in the books is for now 14. But also Tyrion in the books is worse and that includes his looks. I'm not sure how Martin wants to continue their arch if they meet each other again.

@@aleksandrazygmanowska2302 I believe its a 13 year age gap, which considering they got married when she was 14 is quite horrendous at the time. 18 - 31 is a bit more acceptable but still kind of weird.

​@Spongegarr 13 years isn't TOO bad. When I was 19 I dated someone 15 years older. That was alright but we lived in different countries and other complications arose, but the being together wasn't bad, plus she was more mature than most my age which was great to experience. Perhaps it's seen differently with the gender the other way around

Well, the author isn't done writing the books so we may yet get the endings that we hope for. Then again, this IS the man who loves to throw curve balls to unseat the best of us.

Isn't it funny that tecnically because of the moment of her death Cersei was the last crowned Queen of Westeros: Tyrion was her lawfull hier as her closest male relative alive? So while he was in prision he was tecnicaly king amd then he did abdicate? D&D sure knew how to weast(?) potential awsome scenes and a better ending. And Dany declared herself Queen and had followers amd a army but she was never crowned....So? Tyrion should have been king! And then everyone should have realized that peter bealish gaslighted everyone cuz I don't believe he had the power to disolv his marriage to Sansa! And that would be a great ending.

If it helps, the age difference is not nearly so drastic in the books. Tyrion is about ~15 years older than her in the books. In the series finale, Sansa is 19, which would make Tyrion 34. Not at all an unheard of age difference even in our world.

See we are opposites. I care about the age difference. But at the same time, they are perfect for each other. And with everything they’ve been through, I think they’d know how to make each other happy or at the least, help each other heal and be kind.

I shipped them too, if they would've stayed together longer I think Sansa would've leaned to trust him and grow fond of him, I think they would've been happy together

YOU ALSO REMEMBER, SANSA WAS FIRST BORN DAUGHTER of proper family, told to be prim and proper and told she marry a prince, aka she was sold into political marriage, she was ok with idea, just like cersei, and reality hit her hard, robert was womanizer brut, and joffrey was inbred psycho and it just got worse jofrey force her to watch her own father execution for telling the truth that everyone knew, she was held captive, joffrey had her stripped and beaten in public court for her brother victories, and sansa was forced to look at her father head on spike, when she refused to look she was beaten in face with metal glove sansa didnt cry, she simply walkout on beam joffrey stood on to push him off, why not have this be joffrey ending, but hound stopped her to save her life but sansa told lady olenna the truth before the purple wedding, joffrey was monster, and olenna took charge, she and little finger poison joffrey, and set up sansa for crime by putting the posion her necklace

She was also a child Sansa was like what 12 in the first book she has so much trauma in such a short period of time anyone who went through half of what Sansa did would have their walls up as high as possible and some wouldn’t be able to function half as well as she does Let alone a child who lost so much anytime she felt like she was getting a reprieve she was slapped down again and again

It makes a difference that the actor has no deformities and is quite handsome while also being a little person. In the books, it's really hard to picture anyone really falling for him.
