Any of the AU series are much better. It was cheap when brand new. Cost less than the AU-D101 which is 30 watts per channel of proper Sansui quality. Don't waste your money on one.

I had one of these when new. It's a very average sounding amp and not as powerful as the specs suggest due to lacking in the power supply department. It's from Sansui's budget rack-system Super Compo range (plastic sides and fibre-board bottom), and does not compare to any of the AU series which were considerably higher priced and of much better quality. Also, if you need full bass and treble boost and full Loudness you either have deficient hearing or a poor quality system.
Están todos destrozados estos equipos, lleno de gente pidiendo auxilio para repararlos, todo el tiempo llevándolos al técnico una y otra vez, cientos de personas diciendo como se les prendió fuego, técnicos que prometen repararlos y hablando de modificaciones inútiles. Pura chatarra. Realmente un desastre de fabrica, ya estamos cansados de Sansui y tener que invertir dinero y mas dinero en reparar estos equipos. Pero lo peor es la cantidad de gente que los quiere vender como si fueran joyas y hablan de estos equipos chatarra como si fueran legendarios. Mucha gente inexperta lo cree y no sabe que con el mismo dinero puede tener sonido de altísima resolución en Khz donde cualquier archivo de audio puede sonar mejor, mucho mejor que Sansui o conectando antigüedades.
