Easy...slash salaries and get sober on your DEI and pointless socially-correct departments. Double-down on law enforcement and remove the overwhelming burden of lawlessness off the backs of citizens and the bloated legal system. Bureaucracies having coalesced into self-perpetuating empires are completely to blame! It's no longer the calling to public service; rather, it's the money pool of rewards as self service.

This is so sad. Wouldn’t you think a city with sky high real estate prices would generate more than enough in property taxes to flourish? Jackson, Wyoming isn’t letting it’s phenomenal tax base go to waste. That place feels like Narnia.

Except only houses that were sold recently get taxed at the sky high real estate prices. There are lots of houses that were brought decades ago and they retain extremely low property taxes. This issue has always been contentious in CA. New homebuyers pay 30x-40x more property taxes than people who bought 50 years ago.

Guess the county clerk assessor tax collectors going to have to sell off the Tasman Cisco palaces they moved to and go back to their 1st 5th and 6th floor in their still perfectly fine Heddng building. Take a drive and a walk through that Tasman kindgom to find out where your property taxes are really going
