The last concert I went to with my wife. She was in the final stages of her fight with cancer. Santana was one of her favorite bands. She passed away 6 weeks later.

No importa.
I remember they came after the Oct.17, 1989 Earthquake. We are only 6 miles from the epicenter even though it was wide spread. They came to do a show at Geyser Field at Watsonville High. What a great group Santana was to come to our humble little town to help people forget their problems even for a little while during that time of great turmoil.
Man I wish I was alive to witness these types of concerts 😭 all I could do is listen and imagine how amazing it would have been! I clearly remember my first time hearing this song on psychedelics ❤️ I can only watch over RU-vid now
I remember being at this relief concert I was 16 years old, I purchased a ticket for $1 dollar it was an amazing day where words could not describe the UNITY
there are a lot of folks who cannot walk and chew gum at the same, yet Carlos Santana can walk backwards, chew gum, and wear out guitar strings all at once
Someone said they never had anything like this at their HS. Well, we didn't either and I never finished instead I quit and was doing sound for people as in stage work for Santana when he and a good friend and musician Freddy King played w/him. I worked monitors for Freddy that night. And was on stage w/him and Carlos to set Freddy up to play w/Santana and his band. BTW Santana is a really nice dude. Glad to have had the chance to work for Freddy that night.
Remember dancing to this song in Discotags as we called it then.Even today in pubs with live band i request for this song to be played.I love it and its evergreen. For sure it will be listened to for another 1000 years.
This is masterful music....universally recognizable craftmanship....ageless in its composition....a gift for the emotions and the senses to feast on! Gracias Diaz for giving us Carlos Santa and his ensemble.

Samba PaTi OMG!!! Best most beautiful thing I've ever heard in my life! It was the song I danced to at my wedding with my dad. Unfortunately my marriage didn't last but the memories of dancing with my dad to my favorite song do.
Very true... the Congas, timbales & other percussion give the soul to Santana's unique rock, jazz, blues, salsa, and African rhythms. Great stuff indeed!!
I think its the same 376 people who have been disliking ALL the music on RU-vid!!!!! who in the world would dislike Black Magic woman?????? this is one of the GREAT pieces of all time!!!!

We’re lucky enough to have This internet let alone the best Jukebox in the bit of the universe that we’re pretty sure That no space men live in And it’s Santana we’ve cracked it hooray!
That is what makes him a living legend.. And what will forever be his legacy. He played rock and blues and even pop…but did it so no matter who was singing or playing with him.. the one person you knew was playing was always Santana.. It was always his music first.
Ain't dat da truth, Brother. Just imagine what that crowd would look like today with EVERYONE waving their silly-ass phones over their heads. Yeah we lost it.
great sound, the kids are really in to it, he incorporates a few bars of "third stone from the sun." Hendrix 67. great band this one, good Santana line up. great drumming, and bass.

That's my favorite part of black magic woman live. The part where he does third stone. Stevie ray vaughan has a good version of third stone as well check it out.
Thank you again mr. Santana for your beautiful music I grew up listening to your music during my younger years till now bless you and your whole family I listen now brings memories thank you again and God bless you
My favorite moment at Woodstock in 94, was watching Santana, my friends, we came down a hill towards the crowd, the stage, there was 6 of us, we were all dancing down the hill listening to this song, we had just a GREAT time from Friday till Sunday, but that moment was special, never forget it, even with all the rain, it was the greatest weekend of my life. AMAZING time in my life.
My hat, off to you SIR you are a part of Rock&Roll History .. I was, a young Buck teenager when WoodStock was going down .. Sweet Sweet, memories of my Youth ...

The "Best of the Best " iteration of Black magic woman , that Santana ever played with 4 - 5 Guitars on the stage. I love the Bongos guy ,who actually wears a T-shirt sporting that he had seen Elvis alive 😀 The drummer is so exhausted by the end of the song , that I worried that he would have dropped dead with a heart-attack ! Watch the white young high school gal with purple skirt spinning so fast at 4;16 where she looks so electrified 🤣
