As a 72 year old and still like to play man , I had completely forgotten about this classic bass, thanks for refreshing my memories,I will be practicing this one again with my grand daughter.

My compliments to you. Nice to see a brother of the bottom end play with his plucking hand above the pickups and not resting his thumb on the pick up. For me I had to drop my plucking hand 3 inches closer to the bottom bridge to force myself to not put my thumb on em.

Please Please Please Sir, can you do one of your covers with tabs to Grover Washington's Jr.'s "Mister Magic"? That would be awesome! Currently there are a couple but I haven't seen one with the quality that you produce and they don't have the tabs. It is also a great classic jazz tune that is great for a beginner to learn. Thank very much for your work! Again awesome job on this song, the way you played this made me feel like 'Oh crap, I can do this!"
It's a more common technique to use the index finger and playing wirh the thumb creates much lesser attack to the tone. But if it works for you, it's fine!
