I saw him at Boston Garden....the worst concert I ever saw... Not Santanas fault....the garden back then was only good for hockey and Basketball games!!!
You've got me by just one year! Me too! Been a fan of Santana forever and can remember playing this album over and over when I was babysitting in the 8th-9th grade. Santana also played at my older sisters High School graduation at Paly, Palo Alto High!
Love this song so much it brings me to tears! This song was played at my grandfathers funeral. 07/04/57-11/29/2019. RIP Big Steve Miss you so much gramps 💙💙💙
Same here! Your Grandfather was born on an important date in my marriage & your Grandfather passed on my Pop’s Bday. He passed away in 2003, he was born in 1913 & passed at the age of 89 almost 90💙 I bet that you are pretty young. I’m a grandma.
I¨m 70 years, I agree aboyt relax with a glass of wine, or scotch, or cognac, everything is good for listening this great song, Catlos Sanan for me the best guitar man of all times
Had the privilege of seeing Santana in concert numerous times in the 70’s. Definitely one of my all time favourite bands. Awesome. Truly a gifted artist.
I am 66, going on 17, I just listen to it, with or without wine, I don't work, I write, retired at 45 for what can one do at65, I guess drink wine and take In Santana, huh Man
Carlos Santana is one of the very few guitarists whose style is so distinctive as to be easily recognizable. Nobody else has and probably never will have that sound. Thank you, Sir, for a lifetime of great music.
I lost the love of my life in 2019. To cancer every time i listen to this song it makes me smile and think of the good times we had together forever my love 💓❤️
At 68 the album version that enraptured me at 18 has the edge on this version. Every note was more open. Over the years, Carlos has truncated many of the interim notes.
I had first heard of Santana when I was 5 years old, he was electricity in human form. I’m now 55 years old, and he is still a legend. Con todo mi amor, forever Santana
First saw him in the 70s supported by earth wind and fire at the Birmingham odeon never stopped listening since have seen him 3 times since still Blow's me away
In my hippie days 50 years ago, I used to get stoned to this and I was transported to another place and time. It moved me so much I couldn;t get enough. Now I am old and find it still as stirring but without the use of drugs. I can be alone and still I get this beautiful sensation from his music. It's like he and his guitar are one. Like it is an appendage he can never put down or live without. He is truly gifted to be able to make us feel what he is expressing through his instrument. Heavenly.
@@robinwaeytens5637 More like 500 years, this music will live forever. I just did get turned on to Santana about 5 mos. ago and I am no spring chicken so I am learning just now to fall in love with his music and his outlook on life.
So very true! When he plays the music of his guitar runs through my veins. I know it sounds funny to say but when you hear his music it just seams to send you on a natural high and i mean natural! I Do not take any drugs! Love his music.
You can FEEL the music when he plays. More so than a lot of other artists. When you listen to Carlos Santana. And let your body relax, and let the music flow through you, your body will automatically move with the music.
Merci MR CARLOS.

This was played at my wedding in church in 1987 after we said "I do"... We as 20year olds thought it was so cool to do this .. everyone was so relaxed...
I've loved this track for almost 40 years - never tire of it. It never fails to bring a tear to the eye it's just so damned beautiful. I hear the opening chords and melt every time
I hear ya!!! Seen Carlos play this and many more beautiful songs at the Florida theater in Jacksonville Florida June of 95 what a treat, I think we paid 35 dollars for each of our seats what a bargain!!! Not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics were spot on. Great memory rock on CARLOS!!!
Brings me back 40 years to Ios, Cyclades, Greece where I was holidaying with my recently departed friend,Patricia. It was on this sun drenched island I first heard Samba Pati...I was smitten by the beauty of the music. It remains one of my all time favourites!! Carlos Santana is a genius. Long may he live.

Santana’s guitar is crying, so gorgeous,,,he watched Quicksilver Messenger Service band member~guitarist Gary Duncan for tips~the evidence is clear & right in front of us. Thank you Gary R.I.P., and bless you Carlos Santana ♥️
The first time I saw Santana was 1970 at the Atlantic City Race Course in Egg Harbor Township N.J.10 Miles outside A.C. and 40 miles from Philly .They opened for CSN&Y and it was pouring like cracy and windy and it felt like Woodstock it was muddy and the bands kept playing . What a man he truly is .
This song takes me to my peaceful place Everytime. Everytime I hear Santana I think this man is undoubtedly the best guitarist and musician in my lifetime. No one can make a guitar talk like him. But what I love about Carlos is how he at such a young age took 2 cultures and blended them into such a beautiful message of love. I can't say thank you enough.
THIS MELODY , BRING SO MANY BEAUTIFUL N SPECIAL MOMENTS , GOES BACK TO 83 , WHEN THE LOVE OF MY LIFE N I DANCED TO CARLOS UNIQUE STYLE MUSIC... THAT FOR EVER LIVE IN OUR HEARTS.
Santana is a very underrated music legend. From my younger days as a single lady to the period I was broken-hearted one - Santana is an idol to his music that reverberates the inner beatings of the heart taming it for the beast of fury of being hurt - pushing one to get back and stir the heart for a new love's refrain. Hurrah, Santana! Wish you are still around for my youngs going through same process like mine.
