Here's a little slide show put to the music of two of my favorite Santana songs, including some words of spiritual wisdom from Carlos Santana. Enjoy and be blessed!
Carlo's inspirational music and guitar helped me cope through some tough times in life .I am very blessed and honored to have been exposed to his music..I am a product of th 60s..and i have followed him through out his career and will continue to do so.. VIVA CARLOS SANTANA..#1GUITARIST EVER!!🎸🎸
Whenever I hear this masterpiece, I’ve always pictured myself on a small yacht in the Gulf of Mexico looking out over the water , sunlit , splashing up. Going max speed. Celebration of life ! Thanks to God for gifts of music to Carlos and Neal.
Love to jam to this on congoes with my head phones Only two musicians that make me feel really feel my congoes Miles DAVIS And. C SANTANA when they hit certain notes I go to heaven and my congoes come with me
My dad’s favourite guitarist at the end of his life, and I’m starting to appreciate his playing more. A great philosophy to life shown in his quotes. One of forgiveness, anti-hatred and a belief in something higher than himself. Exactly what my dad believed.
This song is like a wave of delight, of forward movement of life itself, a force which would love to carry you along with it if you'll let it. Joy, energy, love, life itself - oh so good...
I,be been listening to Carlos since he came out with Abraxas & the song that cought all my attention was Incident at neshabur that song opened my senses Thank u Carlos.
I remember one summer long ago, the first time I heard Santana , some neighbors turned me on to Carlos , sitting there listening to Abraxas, I was like wow, this is different , but really cool. Carlos always leaves my soul feeling good, good vibes.
Well no matter who wrote it Carlos Santana does an absolutely magnificent job with it❤🎉😂 I saw them at the first Woodstock Festival and they took down the house and rocked the countryside the countryside
It is 2023 sat 21oct listening to a timeless song 🎵 created and played by Santana band who never grow old like the wind just keeps blowing along and around the world 🌎🪘🪘🎸🎸
Thanks for sharin put together well very humbling to the heart n soul thanks you carlos for the beautiful way through your music been a fan over 50yrs n your brothers band malo peace be with you
I agree with you ! Caravanserai & Welcome are so overlooked in my opinion, these 2 albums along with the amazing Borboletta are Santanas greatest mid 70's masterpieces! Flame Sky is simply stunning & Santana at their most trippiest!
Yep Serai , Borb , Welcome and the superb Swing of Delight are my go to Santana albums when I want to really listen. Add to these Oneness must never be overlooked…
Dear Carlos, Thank you for these beautiful words and this beautiful music. "Song of the Wind" opened my heart 50 years ago, and opens it further each time I hear it. And, Gebre, Thank You for putting all of this together 🙏 ♥
Me too brother i first heard Abaxis in country my friend brought a cassette back after going home on an extension of duty leave... Carlos Santana is a good man
Caravanserai,I thought, when I first heard it when it was released, was a Masterpiece! Then my buddy, Lockwood and myself, listened to it whilst trippin ,it was on a quadraphonic system his older bro made. It never lost it's magic to this day. Right RK. Sadly we don't speak much anymore.Such is life! Yogananda ROCKS!!!

I had both of these amazing records on vinyl... i know every note .... thank you for the time you guys for uploading this ; so I can listen ... again to this wonderful music 🎶💕
Carlos was definitely at the top of his game in these tunes (and time) as far as chops go, but let's not forget that a huge portion of Song Of The Wind is actually played by Neal Schon.
And awesome contrast organ playing by Rolie..very soulfil, subtle but adds another dimension to and flavour to the duelling guitars. Never ever get tired of this track..never😺
Nunca saldra una canción tan subliminal co esta, y no sebe de extrañar si sabemos de donde viene, el.sonido del viento extraprdinria melodia, sin desperdició.
It really is a nice video ... I appreciate very much for publishing it ... flame in the sky is like an interface to another dimension ... in very critical moments we hope that a miracle will happen to save someone very dear ... !! Thank you very much for making this video
I have absolutely LOVED this brother from first listen. A friend of mine lent me the Moonflower 8track tape. 😁. I didn’t know where to put my brain! I told him that it got destroyed. I just couldn’t part with it. ( Bought him another later).
Carlos and Neal have also later stated that it was fully intentional to make them sound identical, making the transition between the guitars smooth and almost seamless.

Wish I had a picture of the poor guy in traffic on the Tijuana side of the border. It was slo-mo. He was battered, bleeding, probably drunk, just trying to get enough together to eat. Pray for him, and if you find some good slides of Tijuana, not just the tragedies that exist on both sides, pls add them here.
...Gebre just sent this video of yours to me nephew who is also a musician like myself and he also cherishes these soundtracks as his birthday present today (:
Carlos Santana es mucho, mucho más que Oye Como Va o Samba Pa Ti. Es jazz fusión de lo más delicioso, es etereo como aquí, es grandioso como en Onneness. Hay varios discos de él que son muy poco comerciales y casi desconocidos por la mayoría. Vale la pena explorarlo.
