Santiago de Chile is the capital city of Chile, and is also the largest city. Santiago is Chile's cultural heart.
Downtown Santiago or Santiago Centro is incredibly vibrant and eclectic, with street performances, a constant of people in dedicated pedestrian zones, and architecture new and old. There are also many restaurants and retail stores here.
There are many significant architecture in Santiago Centro, including Municipalidad de Santiago, Central Post Office Building, and Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago.
If you like to people-watch, do not miss Paseo Ahumada, where it is incredibly colourful and vibrant.

Well, yes Cile is below the equator. In Chile Nov.-Mar. is Summer and Apr.-Oct. is Winter

Santiago bella ciudad! Pero alguien deberia adoptar o preocuparse por lo perritos! Vieron eses pobre perrito escondido tras la banca todo asustado! Los perritos y los gatos son angeles q Dios nos ha dejado para cuidarnos y consolarnos! Por favor!!! Las autoridades de la ciudad de Santiago y/o los ciudadanos transeuntes deberia recojerlos y llevarlos a un albergue para su adopcion!
