Alot of people forget for about 1.5-2 years, Santino was the best thing on Raw. When he was a heel with Beth Phoenix, hilarious and very entertaining. It's funny he had the Honka-meter because he was a very similar style IC champ. It's only when he turned face the act got stale. Then he had that stupid walk he did and the cobra. None of that was when he was a heel.
he totally was. in those shit years santinos segments, no matter how small were always the best part of raw. its a shame he didn't get to go all the way

Santino was the one comedic relief of the company that worked hard and got over because of his lovable character tendencies BUT he could be the believable underdog we always want in wrestling. Also a nice guy here so props to you Santino RESPECT

Wow, its so weird listening to him without his accent, but credit to the guy though, the fact that he took his accent EVERYWHERE showed how much he protected his gimmick, the Pro Wrestling business & it showed how much business meant to him. Its a shame guys don't do that anymore, there was a time that Heels had to be Heels 24/7, the fact its not like that any more shows that the magic has been lost in the WWE, and it will never return because of the fact that the Magician (the WWE) has revealed his secrets & let everyone in behind the camera (they killed kayfabe)
Royal rumble may have been too much but he defo deserved to win the Elimnation chamber 2012 over Bryan. Santino was over af that time and he would've reached unbelievable heights

For the way they debut him I thought they would've done more then make him a comedy act. And for debuting at 32 that's pretty awesome that he stuck with it, wasn't really a fan of his but good on him
I remember seeing promos back when he was in Ohio Valley Wrestling, which was WWE's developmental brand at the time. They were pushing him as a bad ass Russian MMA fighter who broke people's arms. How they went from that to Italian comedic relief is beyond me.

santino would have been a opening match at best. but now acting the clown in wwe gets you over but like ive said if i want comedy i'll watch comedy but i want wrestling i'll go back to the old stuff on youtube because this guy is a clown.

You do know Anthony Carelli (Santino so you marks understand) is a world judo champion. He showed massive restraint not to beat Cornette and Boogeyman senseless for that. Cornette is not a professional. He's a mark with no insight. That's why no organization that is popping wants to work with him anymore and he's stuck doing shoot interviews for the iwc for the rest of his life. No one likes him for a reason and the people he had a problem with all succeeded for a reason.
