So glad I saw this. We have booked an NCL excursion to Santorini last week of August, been in 2 minds about cancelling due to overcrowding. After watching your wonderful video am going to cancel & stay on the ship, won't feel like I am missing out now after watching this so thank you. 😊
We are going last week of August in Oia but considering canceling it and relocating to Imerovigli or Fira, the crowd seems intimidating. But I love your video, very informative.
Recommend Fira if using buses only. I've booked in Firostaphani for mid October as it is a short walk to Fira, but without the crowds. We will then rent a car and transfer to Kamari for the last few days as it has less expensive accommodation. We will then spend the days there seeing the rest of the island by car and will drop the car off at the airport when we leave.
