Sany Mini Excavator First Project Laser Grading. I use the Sany SY35U and a CR700 laser receiver to do a bit of slope swale work. #sany #lasergrade #trimble #grading
That key looks kind of like a Bomag key. But lots of construction equipment uses the same keys. And about 80 to 90% of all the construction equipment uses the same blank. They are just cut a little bit different. Lots of key shanks are identical with different heads on them. I keep at least six different keys that are identical except that the teeth are cut different which confuses people when they want to borrow my keys. I started learning about keys cuz I wanted Keys that didn't have plastic heads on them that take up so much room in my pocket. To save more room you can get those double-sided keys cut differently on each side for different tractors on each side of the same key. Just like people used to do for Ford cars and pickups. They would have the car cut on one side of the key and their pickup truck on the other side of the same key and notch in the head on one side of the key to remember which side goes to what car. Bobcat and Case tractors use the same blank as the old Chevy ignition keys. John Deere skip loaders use the same blank as the old gas cap keys with the word "gas" on them. Bomag keys look different than most but they fit several other brands of tractors to. It's so easy to get tractor keys and have copies made that it's not safe to have a key ignition on your tractor. Lots of people are going to coded ignitions now. But a key is better than the old cat equipment that didn't use a key at all, just a switch. Just pointing out that it's easy to steal equipment these days and equipment theft is on the rise, so keep your equipment safe! It's also a good idea to use one of those locators to track your equipment when it's been stolen.
That valve is indeed for your auxiliary function. It changes it from single flow (mainly for a breaker) to dual flow (which it'll be on now in your video to operate your thumb). Hope that helps.
@shane burrell I just purchased the sy35u. Can you possibly provide me the information / part numbers for that valves you had installed with the quick contacts on the side of the boom arm? And possibly who the manufacturer is of them ? Thank you
Hi stupid question about the start up procedure on this machine. When I turn the key to the ON position if I don't crank the engine over immediately the key locks and I have to shut it off and start over. I don't feel like in cold weather especially I should go straight from off to cranking but that seems to be what it wants me to do. I didn't get a owner's manual with mine so I can not consult the manual. I guess my question is does yours do the same thing or is there a step I'm missing
I’m trying to choose between a Sany and a Kubota U35-4. The Sany is much less expensive. Is there anything substantial missing in the Sany that the Kubota has? Anyone regret buying one over the other?
I have the little Sany SY 16 it actually has several these valves it is basically just a ball valve and shut off flow is either off or on somewhere in between my restrict the flow but I don’t know that that’s an advantage and in my engine compartment when I first got it the thumb did not work and as soon as I turn that valve on hydraulic fluid was sent to the thumb… The symbols are in Chinese, if you turn it the opposite direction you’ll find something will stop working I’m sure!
The valve was the spool bypass for aux flow. So if operating a dual direction device like thumb or grapple you want it closed. If operating a mower or other single direction (like in my case) you want it open, the return dumps right back into the tank with it open. Provides max flow, cooler operation etc. I was hoping thats what it did and it works great with my VMC mower. Is the SY 16 pilot operated?
@@ShaneBurrell1, I have a little SY16C with the same kind of valve for auxiliary hydraulic flow: one-way for stuff like breakers and two-way for hydraulic thumbs. It's all manually adjusted on the 16C - no fancy digital controls like your 35U.
S is standard mode B is breaker mode, basically you can get more engine rpm and oil flow out of your SANY when you are in B mode. Don't remember the exact numbers but I believe max for S is 1800 rpm and for B is 2000 rpm... That valve you are talking about is indeed for your aux hydraulic you can choose between one way and two way HYD (breaker or tilt bucket) but on 35 you have 2 aux hyd lines so you can have aux 1 for tilt bucket and aux 2 for breaker or thumb but you need to manually turn THAT valve on or off. Subscribe to my channel I have some videos about SANY machines
My SY35U only has the AUX1. The S and B don't function that way on my machine. In B mode it sets idle to less than 100% and stays there. It also disables the auto idle feature in B mode so not really useful. I think the US versions may be different than other countries. The left buttons did not allow me to do anything with the actuation of my mower. I've already subscribed to you on our last convo about the buttons, but unfortually my version 2021 SY35U (USA) doesn't function that way.
@@ShaneBurrell1 oh, that is weird. Usually us in Europe get stuff with less options. In Europe sy35 as most of them is with 2 aux hyd and it has flow control on both, it has a S and B mod and that valve that you have to turn manually is also activated via solenoid inside the menu. There is a extra option HYD quick coupler and separate lines for it. So you'll still have 2 aux and HYD quick coupler...
@@ShaneBurrell1 nope. Even us in dealership/service don't have original diagnostic/flash tool, they are telling me it does not exist. Only diag tool we use is insite for Cummins engines for bigger SANY machines. Had a few issues on sy18 and sy50 with ECM... We replaced them and it was plug and play...
