OMG! thanks for making this detailed video for this projector. its to old to find a replacement lcd/polarizer unit so i thought i was screwed.

Question: i opened mine up and its the blue polarizer that's melted. can i use the same polarizer sheet you used for the green to fix this?

Yes, you can use the same polariser film for all three colours. However, it's crucial to ensure that you rotate the new polariser film by the same degree as the melted one.

I tried this on my PLV Z2000 but it doesn't really work. When I put the new polariser on the blue, the blue become dark and when I change with the red one, the red become dark... I bought a polariser for iphone 6 on ebay.

I guess this is happening because of not placing the new polariser correctly inside the frame . You can try to flip it or it needs to be rotated a bit more accurate before you cut it .

@@seefees thx for your response. OK I was thinking about rotate more the polariser. Finally I took the 2 polarisers for the blue lcd in my old plv-Z2 and it works fine !!!
