Additional leveling tips: 1. Kill Enemy Players - They are classified by the game as mid-boss enemies and will therefore give you as much exp as a mid-boss of the same level. (Mid-bosses are enemies with two health bars) - They level up with you and will always be one level higher then your current level on normal mode. Meaning they will always be worth killing even in the first area. - They have low health making them fast and easy to kill. - They can be re-spawned by running a set distance from their spawn points then running back. - Because of loading screens you will always be able to kill a pack of Enemy Players several times to one boss kill giving them the best time to exp ratio. 2. Equip weapons and accessories that have memory chips that increase experience. - The bonus is applied from both weapons and both accessories that you have equipped so you should fill all four of your equipment shots with items that increase exp. - The bonus is applied form your party members as well. Meaning your Arfa-sys unit should also be fully equipped with increase exp items and be in your party while hunting. - Use Liz's shop to increase the bonus on your weapons or transfer one to a weapon you enjoy using. Advanced tips: - There is high level section in the first area. If you use an assault rifle or a sniper you can kill the flying drones there as long as you use the stone archway at the entrance for cover to heal. This will give you the highest rank weapons for the beginning of the game making the staring level grind faster and easier. - If you place a proximity mine at the spawn point of Enemy Players they will die as soon as they re-spawn. If the proximity mine does not kill them for you, you can use the proximity stun mine and stun them instead. I recommend using a launcher if you use the stun mine for faster kills. - The best place to grind for exp is by far the last area, The Forgotten Woods, because of its high density of Enemy Players. On extreme mode with exp boosting equipment I was getting 10 levels every half hour to an hour. This was consistent all the way to max level.
With the newest DLC, you can load up ALL the companions with +exp weapons and accessories and the Co-op mode bosses now give a ton better exp so you can do one fight and get between 50k-200k exp depending on how stacked your +exp bonus is. Really helpful when some of the boss fights take a minute or less to do and this can be done all the way up to lvl 225.
Jerokhna, you are correct but as that was the topic of the video my post was an alternative way of getting exp. My point is I find farming co-op bosses boring as F**K. You spend twice as long sitting in loading screens as you do killing the bosses. It is a viable way to level and if you enjoy it then you should do it. I and many others don't. That is why my post focuses on another viable way to get exp. To give variety to players making the game fun for them. Also here are some numbers for you. With just me and my Arfa-sys using +exp items, Enemy Players on extreme mode give 30K exp. If I put +exp on the other npcs and increased the gain on my current gear (as it is much lower then the cap) I could be getting 60K per Enemy Player. Using the 30K that I currently get, when I farm for exp I always hunt groups of 4. This gives me 120K per group kill and I can kill a full group with a single plasma shot from my rocket launcher (I use a gugnir) using the proximity stun mine strat as mentioned in my post. It then only takes 15 seconds to respawn the group. So all in all it takes me about 20 seconds to do a full loop making 360k exp a minute. If you didn't use my strat and just ran around the forgotten woods you would still be getting around 200k-250k a minute depending on group size of Enemy players. Note that this is still using my 30k per kill and could easily be increased even farther with more +exp items. I'll say it again, farming Enemy Players give the best time to exp ratio which is why I use it when I want to get some levels.
The other advantage of co-op bosses is the legendary drop chance of specific equipment. I.E. Angry Berserker will ALWAYS give swords, Judgment System gives rocket launchers and Shooting Phage gives Gatling guns. Then with the DLC components, if you are looking for something else, then farming the new dungeons and looking for golden drones will net better equipment and playing in Extreme mode will always have the enemies at a corresponding level and not locked to I think a lvl 120 limitation except for the few 200-250lvl roaming area bosses for quests. Then there is the fact you get sellable item rewards from co-op which can greatly boost your performance by being able to purchase good equipment from the black market dealer. For newbies, just getting through the storyline and doing quests (PvP, Treasure, etc.) will net enough to progress steadily until the main storyline is over but after that, you need to play differently and the developers have put in with the latest version a nerf to farming PvP NPCs because people were heavily abusing the respawn system.
Enemy Players drop items too. It is just that they are more likely to drop accessories while bosses drop weapons and high selling gems. So if you want weapons and/or money as well as exp then yes farming bosses is a good idea. However, you are incorrect about the nerf. The nerf happen long before I made this post and it did not nerf the respawn, it nerfed the revive farm method. Completely different from the method that I describe in my post. I can confirm my method works in the current version of the game as I was using it just a few days ago. You can get everything from anything in this game it really does not matter what you kill. But to simplify for new players that want to focus on one thing: -Kill bosses for weapons and money. -Kill Enemy players for accessories and exp.

One of the things I wish I knew sooner was buying skill points from the medal trader. Early on you will have the stats for skills but not the skill points to unlock them for use... I am pushing max lvl on my 1st character and I am still spending all my medals on skill points.
I have a good beginning tip. My brother and I came up with this. This mainly works for beginners on how to grind fast and get money fast. (50% credits earned and 102% interest were used for banking) After beating the first dungeon boss and beating Joe twice, you can go fight the second dungeon boss. When you're able to go fight it, instead spend a little bit grinding around the Floating Tower and the City and whatnot. Also go back to the first dungeon boss and give him a few ass whoopings. (3 should be good enough) Then beat the second dungeon boss. When you're able to beat the third one, do the same thing. This can really increase your level. After a while, it won't do much so I suggest going to Solitary Sands and spend 2 hours nonstop going back and forth everywhere except the Industrial Zone because that place has too high levels. My brother took out his 1.5 mil from the bank. Using the first method in Remnant Wastelands (Beating the first boss 5 times, second dungeon boss 5 times, and the third boss 5 times before returning back to the Glocken, he was able to earn it all back), you can grind quite a bit of levels and be pretty overleveled for the next area. You get 5,000 Credits per Unique Enemy (ones with two health bars) so if you're able to, beat the giant scorpion and the giant Sniper Automaton going back and forth along with the bees and other scorpions and enemy characters and you can rank up over 375,000 credits in barely 45 minutes.
Gl I also started on extreme and there are so many bs spots. Even if I where to grind to a stupid high level the spots are so broken that its all about luck to get through. My favorite one is the 6 snipers that must be killed to advance. You cant get near them because of a bottomless pit. Your lovely ai buddies will run out in the open and die and if even one is alive and you drop instead they will just hut hut hike all over your body until they finally die with you.

Buy accessories that give exp bonus from vender and equip exp bonus stat on weapons. Late players can farm enemy npc on the last map because there everywhere you could get 8 of them on one side of the map just by running back and forth from there spawn spots that is 3 seconds away from each other. Get more exp on extreme also.
Judgement system didn't give me any trouble in my noob days I just had to pay attention to the bombs he shoots out and hide behind the pillars for the laser.
The only thing annoying about the second boss is the room he is in. There is no safe spot for his ball attack, aka poorly designed boss battle. The higher level version of him is better designed cuz there is a safe spot from both his laser attack AND the balls (it's the bridge as soon as you enter the room, just crouch down and shoot his weak spot). If you know the movements of shooting phage he is soloable with a sword, I do it all the time as a sword main. Shooting phage is actually how I learned how to use the sword properly. He also taught me to look at monster movements and how to dodge/roll to avoid attacks. There are also certain enemies you can JUMP to avoid attacks.
K judgment system does have safety from the laser which are pillars on the side and the balls are going to drive you away from cover and make you not stay still to lower your accuracy so they aren’t supposed to be cover avoidable necessarily. Ruthless angel is easier but because people rely on the bridge for cover it would catch them off guard from the ball from behind
I recently reached level 127 after doing some high-level online co-op quests. once you complete the game a few times doing some co-op quests with people that are level 300 is the best way to grind out levels. i once got 4 levels from one mission with two-level 200 players and one level 300.
Hey Ventus. Dont know if you know but there is actually a way around this. There another enemy in co-op online you can grind for exp. You get 7Mil exp each time. All it takes is someone who is a high lv then go online with them and then select Behemoth MH 02 on norm(dont remember if it was normal or hardcore. But youll grow so fast. I went from lv89 to 135 in maybe three times and that is without exp boost stuff. Figured i let you know if you didnt know about it
I have a strat for the judgement system, when you enter the area you want to stay near the entrance, when he fires his ball things you want to go back through the door and go to one of the corners next to it or just run across the bridge,
Super EZ additional tips, if you have DLC 1 2 and 3 of the game, there's a hero reception event in the lobby of SBC glocken, go to party mode of that and choose the last and the team is Kirito, Asuna Eugeo and Alice. GRIND THIS ONE OUT! Pick any char but I recommend Alice because she has a full-auto shotgun, and there you have it, just kill the tank boss by shooting his weak spot and after when it's done he'll drop a Rank 7 weapons, additionally for reward is 50 skill points and medals. just transform the chips from lvl 7 to lower rank of your weapon if you can't equip those and you know... just lvl up from the field and there you have it, you can equip high-rank weapons, this should be so easy for u to clear the maps quickly. Note: I did this when I was lvl 1 and yes levels don't matter on this event, and when u go to field just kill any enemies in your ways. Try beating a hunting quest because it gives TONS of Exp and I would recommend this. Lastly when your good at shooting at weakspot damage, make your arfa-sys a support role while you are the true damage dealer
I beat the judgment boss easily on easy mode though I was lvl 20, by using a sniper rifle, conceal ,the skill that erases bullet line,concentration and explosive shot (my NPC team was arfa sys,asuna and sinon)
Little harder to do but, transform a weapon so it has a maxed out exp boost stat and get yourself an accessory or two with the same stat. Then do pretty much the same thing Ventus is talking about.
Online works for new players until like lvl 80 on piercing eye 2 which is a nice limit on exp but the weapons you get tend to be out of very early league players so they should get weapons beforehand. Lvl gets harder to obtain after this unless paired with a 200 and more players on ghospet 2
hopefully you can do a guide video for leveling late game characters.i stiil am trying to find a way to level faster for a level 90+ character but cant.
Hey Ventus just wanted to ask if you have ever gotten a legendary AMR Breakthrough 3 from the forgotten temple. I just got one yesterday. It's base damage is 6784 and I've noticed that whenever I shoot common enemies in the Old South, and the forgotten woods, they almost always get knocked down because of how powerful the weapon is
Ventus SGN yeah I'm pretty sure in terms of raw damage, it's strongest gun on the game. Though it's weight is ridiculously high. I'm barely able to handle the one I got. I've only got about 35 weight left.
Nanoteque I only ever got the AMR Breakthrough 2 and even though it was powerful, it didn't have the critical damage that I was looking for. 7/10 times, I can hit the genbu in the jewel weakspot and since I had pretty high accuracy, I wanted a weapon that could deliver the weak spot damage I was aiming for. Until now, I had been using a legendary AMR Deathwind and that weapon had pretty high critical damage
Don't work for critical on amr breakthrough even with a chip at 33% crit rate i crit like every 200 shoot so i suggest you to go killers then weak spot then the chips that boost the raw damage You can even put exp bonus if you use it for farm(one shoot enemy players with explosive shoot 3)
One question I haven't been able to to figure out on my own..the outfit costumes that you can buy and Asuna makes other than cosmetics looks do they posses any special ablitys. 1+ STR Ect.?
Question is it really worthwhile leveling up a weapons stats because of its general performance before upgrading to a next version of it? Because I favor the Nuage AR which carries 200 bullets and has a range of about 30-32.5 and usually a B or B+ aim ranking and we'll I increased its range to close to 40 and dual wielding it's 400 shots fired which seems damn good for all around fighting, could you recommend anything similar or equal in range+firepower aside from the Lupus types and the other similar ARs like Pluie Karymsky etc types
The AR i'm using right now is a legendary Blue Rose MK3+ with: Damage at Max HP +29.50% Damage vs. Mechs +29.50% (since most bosses are mechs) Weak Spot Damage +29.50% Critical Damage +44.50% Physical Attack +29.50% Weapon Attack +22.00% Critical Rate +44.50% Auto-Reload Rate +74.50% In my opinion, this is the best AR in the game and even better than my AR Ninja 3++. Only 84 bullets in the mag but the gun is very good

Unless you play on xbox then you won't see anyone else playing this game, I just picked up this game 2 weeks ago got both of the bad endings switched over to the harder setting been grinding out levels. I'm up to 131 now and anytime I go to grind a co op boss there is just me in the lobby.
Very late tip: Do Co-Op quests a lot of level 300 players are running them (well not a lot.. like few of them) but there is always a spot and it's free XP and Bounty (:
Press X to dual-wied.... jk. Try getting a better rank one. If you feel lucky you can try change the difficulty of the game to Extreme and try your luck on the Predator Shop. Sometimes you can find some really good stuff there
Go for the enemy players in the wasteland and if you feel like grinding the team hero quests will give you 100 of each medal and 3 random weapons rank 6 - 8 it's good for a head start
Without the DLCs, you will most likely be bored since I'm sure there's nothing good to do after the base game. With the DLCs, you will be occupied for a while doing all 4 of the dlc campaigns. But they can be difficult if you don't have any good weapons (some of which are in the DLCs). I recommend getting it since you'll be playing it for a while. I absolutely love Fatal Bullet's gameplay but there are a lot of conversations.
Ventus, when you say you can do co-op missions solo, does that mean I am able to do them without psn/ps plus. Sorry for not knowing the actual online name for PlayStation, I don't play it as much as Xbox.
Anyone know where to get a good sniper rifle early on (currently lvl 30 and the best one I found so far was something called epic dragon something in that shady place in SBS glocken)

Hey Ventus ! >.< I have sort of a complicated question.. I am at lvl 90 and already gone through the game 2 times, and got both bad endings. (Im now on grinding for the true ending) But what do you do after achieving that? I mean, you beat the game, then comes the credits and then your at home screen again, and have to restart with ur char (wich in my case is lvl90) again from 0. I know skills etc. your gonna keep but how do you play ? Do you just go in line the 5th time and then just stop continuing the Story by the last quest ? I written so much, i dont know if u even understand me, cause im from switzerland XD But, as always, awesome Video ventus !! Edit: maybe u can do a Video on that? :)
So a boring but fast way of lvling is the solo stinger route there is a set of holigens npc shooters right next to the solo stinger so i just kill those three mobs for 250k exp every min or so in the old south on extream mode
