I think I revived them more then enough times just by trying to get them into the correct position

Thanks bro, you're the MVP. This is the fastest method I've seen. Took about 5 minutes to set up, but it's really effective.

If you playing on NG+. you don't have to unlock the "Make or Break" quest just walk to a specific location on the video and you good to go. Thanks to JecPK, Shawn Mendoza for sharing.

Defeats purpose of true ending because you need good Affinity for it and the make or break quest is after Mother Claudia which after beating that quest you decide the ending of the game

Really good method but since i dont know how to correctly use the marcos xD i use the time they are getting downed to lvl up all the efficiency of my skills the pistol art is really use here for the quick cool down time, thanks a lot for help with that vid :D

You all need to realize that another quick way to increase affinity WITHOUT killing your allies is to complete unique enemy quests. Like come on. You get free easy exp if you choose the easiest Unique Enemy Quests. Sure it’s very little at the higher levels but here’s how I was able to get a good 8-10% affinity per exploration (going out into the free roam areas). This works for all three platforms but the names of enemies may differ depending on region. 1. Get the following side quests: GGO’s Next Top Bot (Elite Automata) Metal Menaces (Metal Ahriman) King of the Wastes (Waste Gang) Irrational For Rations (Wanderer Eater A Shell of A Person (Heartless Puppet) 2. Fast travel to the First Are and take out the Elite Automata and Wanderer Eater (Giant Scorpion) near the ruined citadel. 3. Fast travel to the Mid Point of the South East Dungeon (if you have it, if not you’d have to run on foot) of the First Area and find the Metal Ahriman at the end of a long bridge near the mid point. 4. Fast travel to the Cave Dungeon Midpoint and head for the door near said mid point. The Waste Gang will spawn within that room. 5. After killing waste gang, make your way to the end of the dungeon, beat the Cave Dungeon Boss, and head into the second area. 6. Fast Travel to the Ship Graveyard and make your way around the far end of the first ship you see on your left and run along the side of the ship. You’ll find the Heartless Puppet there. 7. Repeat all this with the party of players you need to increase affection levels for and you should get a good 7-10% depending on the Affinity Level (1-4) of the character. I found out that by defeating unique enemies (Field and Dungeon Bosses) you gain a small amount of Affinity per boss kill, and the harder the boss the more Affinity you get. Granted it’s small, but if you’re willing to put in a little work, you can get decent XP and chances at a Legendary Gatling Gun and Pistol from the Cave Depths Boss and the Heartless Puppet, respectively. If you’re high up in the levels and you need quick affinity AND quick weapon farming, give this method a try. It’s a bit tedious for lower levels and I recommend doing this after you’ve found all these bosses and are AT LEAST Level 40-50 to make this go by quickly. I’ve been doing this at Level 102. I tried to use the “easy 5% revive” method but my party members rarely ever die even if I set the ArFA-Sys to full on attack mode. Sure, if I set them to not attack like in the vid and find a nice place to sit and spam, it’d probably be a lot easier, but I find that boring. Plus, this method actually got me a pistol that’s meant to appear in (I think) NG+ and higher difficulties. If I remember correctly, it was called the Miasma Claw which is the upgraded variant of the Prosti Pistol. (Both look like Death Gun’s Pistol from the show without the star on the grip). Edit: I apologize if this sounds insensitive as hell because I just ried Extreme Mode for the first time and holy crap the game became hard as balls in the first area alone. The above method works best with Normal mode.

That method is like watching your friends get butchered and you just stand there. If it were me, I just start a quest at the entrance and tread through.

Side note: U can actually go to that dungeon before the "Make or Break" quest. Not sure when but I went there after I got the third security card for the SBC Flügel.

Thanks for the pro-tip! I didn't have UGC Glocken Underground Basement unlocked, however I had just encountered a Laser Cannon XL in the Outskirts Facility Dungeon (in the Old South) which gave me an idea! To pull off the same trick as in the vid, but a little earlier in the game, clear from the entrance up until you encounter the Laser Cannon XL (its pretty much at the start of the dungeon, after 2 corridors). Make sure to remove all adds and leave the Laser Cannon XL alone. Head to the very back of the room where the locked door is, and set your party to Rendezvous on your Position, its a bit fiddly to get them to bunch into the corner of the locked door (and be in sight of the Laser Cannon XL) but it is possible! Once in position, set them to Stay in Position. Map w/ Position -> imgur.com/DZYUpuS Let the Laser Cannon XL do its work and spam Revive!

Seems like any mega cannon and putting the party into "hold this spot / do nothing" mode will do.

Do you have any advice on how to keep the laser aggro’d on the NPCs? It either focuses back on me or stops firing entirely after a few minutes.

I found a better way to get there Affinity up in that same room put them in the right corner behind the cannon then stand under the laser Canon that way when the cannon tries to Target you you can actually control the Cannons aim so it hits them every time skills i use is AED shot , hyper awareness and healing field shot for myself and gadgets I just use first aid kit 2 beware when using hyper awareness it does not work when your Reviving them so make sure your health is full before you do

My method was going to the Subjugator boss and have it laser blast them like that while I killed the minor enemies and farmed medals. Only irritating part is when it would try and shoot me through a shipping container. Smh

I feel like this should have the opposite effect to raising affinity.

I laughed so hard looking how it looks like a fabric, the machine kills them, then the guy revived them, then she die again and the guy revived them like in a fabric with macro and lots of fun included xD

So Kureha, Zeliska, Itsuki, Kirito, and Sinon are not available at the time you unlock the dungeon, I guess? Also is this before or after Kirito Mode? Since I want to get max affinity on all characters, I want to know if I’d be able to unlock all the CGs on Kirito Mode or not. Sorry for the long question

Bazalt Joe is annoying to grind. I'm on extreme and at half health it takes 2 hits to kill him when he's lvl 87. The others I got to affinity rank 4 while he's at 2. Plus idky but it stopped giving me 5 points each time now it only gives 2 or 3

Hey my dude, what would you recommend to do this if you are nearly lvl 100 and therefore your allies reflect that?

I think they’ve patched this, I’ve tried it a few times now and once a character hits a wall the laser will no longer target them and the character freezes in place. They won’t move no matter what command I give them and I have to teleport to get them to move. I tried it with different characters on different difficulties and nothing worked

This would be super helpful and all... but this is the 5th time I’ve finished the game, and the most recent time I’ve been down was yesterday... that was the first time I had been down in 3 years. Wtf should I do if me and my team are basically invincible. It would take forever to get even one of them down.

Quick question. I met four characters who I'm not all to familiar with. They are LLENN, Pitohui, Fukaziroh and M. Do they have to have at least level 2 affection or level 4 75% affection in order to get the true ending?

Everyone dodge left and right for me even on Stand By. I grinded most of the AIs to Affinity 4 100% through playing the game normally, I guess I can't get any shortcuts for my last 5. Sigh.

I heard how to get true ending and gave it a big fuck that, after watching this kinda looking forward to it. Might not do all this way but some are just useless on the maps and deserve this abuse.

I tried this, even on extreme difficulty and it wouldnt kill them fast. Atleast 3 lasers to kill one. Ibjust went back to the forest edge method.
