I’m now 30 and this song takes me back to all the sweet and sad emotions of being in high school. This was one of my favorite songs and it’s so good to see how many other people still love this song!
I miss the part, when we were moving forward now (On our way down) But maybe someday, I'll be something more than love Just know I'll never tell And when you're on your way down (Through the clouds) And you're waiting for your body's re-entry again We speak in different voices When fighting with the ones we've loved We speak in different voices Why can't we say what we're thinking of I'm missing parts, now that you've told me everything (On our way down) And I was blessed and I've forgotten how to love You said you'd never tell And when you're on your way down (Through the clouds) And you're waiting for your body's re-entry again We speak in different voices When fighting with the ones we've loved We speak in different voices Why can't we say what we're thinking of Not even I will tell... We speak in different voices When fighting with the ones we've loved We speak in different voices We say these things to know they're real. We speak in different voices When fighting with the ones we've loved We speak in different voices Why can't we say what we're thinking of We speak in different voices When fighting with the one's we've loved We speak in different voices We speak in different voices To know they're real. Real. I'll never
We speak in different voices. messaage is short, but got deep meaning. 2020 emo's, how u doing now emo kids from the past, were about to reach 30's, time flies
@@julianbarriga8513 Oh man, watched it 3x already back when I was 17 maybe, I always cry alot. the best line I took from that movie is when his father is dying and said "whatever you do, put your family first" that hit me a lot haha one of the best
@@eggsandham666 Hahaha congrats for your baby! I am turning 28 this year and lot of crazy things happened. We need some hard drinks tonight so I can tell the story of my life better 😂
is this sooooo underrated ??? i remember listening to this song like almost 8 years ago and its still one of my favorite songs of all time !! much Love from Germany Saosin !!
you know, you can always tell when a band is good, especially when you go years without listening to them and you can still remember certain songs and even the band name in general lol and definitely when they aren't big names, I have never forgotten this band
Holy fucking hell, I remember this comment. I came back here after almost 10 years not listening to this song, and I remember this comment, I was here using my mom's laptop back then
I listened to this song about a million times when I was a youngster. And this is so applicable to my life RIGHT NOW... I have had the lyrics memorized yet my mind didn't apply them....
Isn't that weird when you know every word to a song but never deeply consider what they really mean? I think the older you get, the more your brain starts to need to make sense out of things that your younger brain didn't bother to think much about. I think seeing the lyrics in text form helps a lot too.
I miss old days on high school you have this kind of your music and put your headphone in your in ears you doesn't care about surrounding just feel the song
I just revisited this video..what a great band! I was obsessed with Cove Reber, there is something about him that made me crazy for him..I'm 61 now and he is still a wild child only 38! I wish the best to all members of Saosin.
Half way through 2021 and yes I can confirm this is still a banger. I'm hHitting the big 40 this year and while I can no longer belt out these songs like I used to when I was singing regularly this brings me endless joy from the memories. Hope the next generation of emo kids are enjoying it as much as I did!
Beautifully said. Hittin close to 30 here and this song, along with Youre Not Alone, gives me so many feelings. My kids listen to this type of music with me. Never gets old
Check out Dead American, its the lead singers new band. Saosin was huge, and this band is very much under the radar. We literally go to chat with and meet Cove yesterday. Super chill dude.
Listened to a 2 and a half hour podcast yesterday with Cove from 2009 and it brought me back to these good years. Cove has such a cool story and his lyrics were so ambiguous but held so much meaning for me. I'll always thank him for that.
I was raised Mormon. Anthony had left Saosin and I was kind of bummed but then when I learned that Cove is Mormon. I no longer practice, I left as a teenager. But dude having someone to relate to in that aspect was so cool. This album is so positive.
Cove was a phenomenal vocalist. He had incredible talent. The reason why he was asked to leave Saosin is because he let his abilities deteriorate. His power, range, clarity, and consistency all slowly withered away because he didn't take the time to rest his vocal chords, warm up, or train when he needed to. Smoking cigarettes before each show didn't help much either. Singing as well as he did is hard, but totally possible if you keep at it.
chrizz pach Both Vocalists brought great dynamic to the band and both are amazing singers and I'm glad Saosin went through the two singers because it's like having 2 bands for the price of 1
