Hi Satish, Field status of posting key controls which fields are mandatory/ optional during accounting document posting using that posting key. Example: We can make Assignment field mandatory for posting key 40.
but,the fields of the document entry is controlled by field status variant through field status group right....again why we are maintaining the fields at posting keys level for document entry.... one more doubt sir, actually field status variant is maintained at client level right, fields of the posting keys we maintained at client level or company code level?
