The recommendation is to activate the content of the business roles that you need. From a security standpoint, you don't want to activate services that are not needed. Also, some business roles have special prerequisites, which could lead to a short dump of the task list. This is valid especially if the business functionality first has to be activated by a business function switch. To avoid such interruptions when you carry out the task list, it is recommended to select only those roles, which prerequisites are met, and which fit to the intended usage/scoping of the SAP S/4HANA system.
