SAP Query - Output Messages | User Feedback in Output 

In the InfoSet (transaction SQ02), you can generate a message in the status bar in the code (Shift + F8). There are two times when the message should appear in the status bar:
Immediately after calling the SAP Query
After executing the SAP Query (when the list output is displayed).
If you want to use the first option, you must insert your ABAP code in the "AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT" code section.
If you choose the second option, you must insert your ABAP code in the "END-OF-SELECTION (after list)" code section. This is where you can use the MESSAGE command.
