If you want to see this route being used in a real game to clutch: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-svlnosFicpw.htmlsi=cjHTwJbnV9QjsLd2 We managed to clutch wave 103 to beat the 104 endless world record and reach wave 105. Wave 105 record got beaten to wave 143, but the wave 143 one should be put in a separate category of its own because of how much easier the game was due to slower spawns. It was so easy we had to purposefully throw the game because the weekend was ending and we were getting tired (I played for around 34-35 hours straight) , and bored because of how easy it was. This has been one of the reasons as to why I haven't had the motivation the game as much lately, among other things. Either way, Sapper clutching is still very engaging because of unique routes, all the micro mechanics, efficiency, and macro decisions to make. Glad I finally got this run.
Annoying in some situations where you need to take shambler scratches to get a wall down and move around to not get grabbed, and by the time it's down there are many zombies on your side of the wall. All those scratches add up. With that said, unbuilt barricades used to mess with ai alot and sometimes create lag or break spawns. I think they should have slightly nerfed the spamming instead of removing the mechanic completely tho personally. Them ignoring unbuilt barricades can also be an advantage in some situations, like in the la ferme corner catwalk. If you have enough time to place a wall but not enough dps to hold it, you can progressively increase its hp when you have time to do so without zombies damaging it, allowing you to get another layer down which you couldn't have before in some situations. I also wish we could place caltrops at more spots to counteract this and delay zombies. It's a big problem in Tyro where even on flat ground on most of the map you can't place them. Or in Hougomont with a bug that prevents you from placing them on 85%+ of the map, and only fixes itself after playing normally for a while. That bug also prevents you from placing walls in certain spots until the bug fixes itself. I reported that bug months ago and nothing has come of it unfortunately.
I did record some moments, and I might post some parts of it, but most of it was pretty uneventful because it was so easy. The only clutch I could have participated in I was passed out for at least 30mins because of sleep deprivation.
