Friend has a EAA SAR B6P bought in Jan 2020 and he got the MEC GAR MCGCZ7516B after getting repeated no response from EAA to order a EAA/SAR Arms factory mag. Mag worked as-is if you slam it in the handle well, but was not reliable with less force. widening the notch up about .75 mm with a dremel as shown in the second part video made it MUCH smoother. It's NOT the notch on the side with the sight holes to see how many rounds are in the mag, it's the notch on the other side with the part number MG-CZ75-9MM. Have not fired yet, but mag now goes in/out smoothly and rounds cycle out manually and locks open properly after last one. He was singing your praises - THANK YOU!
I filed the bottom of magazine well making the grip on my B6P a bit shorter. This allows the B6P to accept all CZ75B mags (including the 16rd MecGar that you showed here). It also accepts Tanfoglio Witness and SAR CM9 mags. No magazine modification is needed.
I filed the mag catch slot in the cz75 mecgar mag and it now works flawlessly. I posted a video of the results and gave you the credit for your solution. I'm very pleased to have saved money and have a high quality mag for a bargain price.
CZ-75B mags fit, apparently the 19 round mags fit better than the 17 round. But just got to CDNN sports, they have SAR factory mags in stock for about $22.
They take standard cz75 mags. I use the ones from my cz75 SP01 and a mec gar cz75 and the work flawlessly. For 20 bucks you can get a mec gar cz75 mag.
Just use CZ75 mags , its a copy of a CZ75 pistol and has nothing to do with a browning Hi Power. Its a B6 and they come in full size or compact versions.
Hello there. Are you certain that these mags (Mec Gar MGCZ7516B) will work on the sar b6p? I just bought two sars and want to buy at least 8 mags total but am worried that I might be buying the wrong ones. If anyone here knows FOR CERTAIN that these mags will work can you please let me know. I would appreciate it greatly.
I bought the same gun. At least 2 failure to feed with each magazine. Also Tried CZ mags --same problem. Sent it back to EAA at a cost of 20$ each way to ship. EAA sent it back and said nothing is wrong with it! Tried it again with several ammo brands - same issue. Will never buy another EAA gun. Basically I feel ripped off!
