I know that this video has been out for a while now but I haven't been able to watch it for the fear of the memories it would bring back. When my daughter's doctor told us "I'm so sorry, it's cancer" you just can't believe it, you don't want to believe it. My daughter underwent multiple surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy and I can honestly say that the children are the ones that are truly brave. My daughter always thought that if you have Hope, Strength and Faith it will equal a Cure and in her case she was right. She is over 10 years cancer free. Bless all the children... Isaiah 41:10

Great news! We need all the positives we can get. So many of us are losing loved ones to this terrible epidemic. The general public seems unaware of the number of lives lost each day until it visits their circle. We must support any efforts to eradicate cancer! Thanks for this inspiring video!

I'm really sick of the dislikers. haters! I love to read comments from loving kind people. if not for them, I would be a hater of the haters. it's so hard to try and remember that they are the ones who need prayers. the children's hearts are pure, they don't judge. It's so easy to LOVE them. we all have to prayer for them, because God loves them so much, and I can't stand to see them suffer, nor their parents. I pray for all the sweet children, that our Mighty God will intervene and be with them all, like He already is. ;) ♥ † ♥ Blessings

MY son is a cancer survivor 24 years now! Does a heart good to see the smiles on their faces knowing what they are going through.. My son had Hepatoblastoma a rare liver cancer, he was diagnosed at 16 months old! Now he is a grown man taller than me! Yes we was very lucky having to use experimental chemo drugs and major surgery. Now these Chemo meds are used on a daily basis in hospitals world wide.. those that dislike a story like this has no heart!!

I am a 7 1/2 Breast Cancer Survivor. Yeh!!! I cried when I saw this video. The Singers were fabulous. I can tell you right now, that this is my personal theme song, which gives me inspiration EVERY single day that I do my work. I laugh and I cry and I think of the moms and dads and siblings out there dealing with this beast. The ONLY thing to dislike here - correction: LOATHE is CANCER ITSELF. My Truly Brave niece is going in right now for her end of treatment bone marrow and spinal fluid tests after two years of chemotherapy for leukemia. She just turned three. Prayers and hope are needed now more than ever for her. Awareness, funding, and research are needed now more than ever for all the future childhood cancer warriors.

It's amazing the joy children can find, despite disease. I had one patient with a large abdonminal tumor that decorated his IV poll as Wall-e, had a "glow stick party" in his room, and found so many outlets for fun, happiness and joy.

Such a heart-warming song..I honestly couldn't contain myself with the message it brings, how we all must unite in promoting awareness about cancer that whoever stricken with such nefarious illness, hope & positivity musn't be altered with grief or self-devastation. It is a journey & a tough travail to travel which test our sense of patience & perseverance without giving out whatever courage left in us. 8 years ago, I was diagnosed with Cancer, When I learned of what I had, all I could think about was my sons, and what they would feel if I did not make it through the ordeal I had. Today I am a survivor, because of the skills of my doctors, and enjoying that I am still here with them to enjoy their lives. While they did have to endure the worry, I also started to see what my feelings were toward kids who have cancer, that they worry about what they have, is something that potentially may take them from their families. My thoughts go out to these kids and that they are and will be survivors as well, and that they can enjoy their forever lives with their families!

yes, she's an angel. our home-girl. ;) my boys used to sing with her at church in the kids choir. Laura lee taught them. Sara had the lead in little shop of horrors at high school. my youngest son Mike had a huge crush on her. we went to see it all week. she's always sang with heart. we all love her here in hometown. ♥ This video was so inspiring, I so love it. and I thank you for what you and Cyndi did. oh my gosh, I was just singing Girls just want to have fun last night! haha..;) I love these beautiful children in the video, and I pray that God Blesses and keeps them here for a long time. their colors are.....Beautiful, like Sara and Cyndi's. I know this is about pediatric cancer but it can inspire others also. This weekend in Toledo is the Walk for the Cure for breast cancer awareness. I posted it on my facebook page to inspire all of those brave women and men who will take part in this worthy cause. Thanks Sarah and Cyndi for this marvelous collaboration to inspire so many.

can watch this over and aver again- with an unbelievable appreciation for CHOP and all the children we met thru the early 90's- my daughter, a survivor, now 20 yrs later, used to say CHOP til you drop... but now she sees how much it hurt but maybe it had to be that way... funny, back then I /we used to sing I have confidence from Sound of Music... wish we had these lovely voices back then-HUGE TY for all involved in this lovely tribute to the children and CHOP!

Our family lost an Uncle in his mid 30's to brain cancer. He fought a courageous battle. I commend both musicians, Hoda Kotb, and all involved in bringing this together. It is a true work of art, and is a wonderful tribute! Prayers for all the individuals in the video, and around the world who are "showing their true colors, and being "Brave" in their ongoing fight against this disease. Colin, the oldest boy in this video is my neighbor. I went to school with him until he was diagnosed and then he was out for a while. I believe he's finished his treatment as of a few weeks ago. He's so strong and I look up to him so much.

This is such a beautiful song. When me and my sister's heard it yesterday and today, it has brighten the dark of dealing with our Mom's final stage of life with ovarian cancer she has been fighting for the last 8 years. Hopefully the American Cancer Society will fund more research for childhood cancers!! Currently they only fund a pathetic one half cent per dollar raised for childhood cancer research. Educate yourself and donate to organizations that actually put money toward the kids!! ❤️

My mom passed away in 2004 from Non Hodgens Lymophma this song was not out at the time but every time I hear it it touches my heart she really put up a fight she was an amazing person and mother thank you Cyndi and Sara my mom was Truly Brave....

My daughter was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 neuroblastoma at 5 months old, she will be celebrating her 4th birthday October 27th!!!! This song makes me cry for so many reasons. I cry for how blessed I am to still have my daughter, her sibling still have their baby sister, but I also cry for those kids who have fought so hard and aren't here anymore. Pediatric Cancer receives the least amount of research dollars and yet robs the greatest amount of years of life!!! please donate even a dollar!!!!

I work in a cancer center. This video is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I am so well and truly in love with Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper and the entire Today show! May the light of the universe shine on everyone with this horrible disease. Thank you for that precious gift!

Yes iTunes needs to add this and all proceeds go to research the nurses and doctors that work at children’s hospitals are a different breed mad respect I can’t listen to this with out bawling my eyes out not afraid to say it

This is such a beautiful thing that Hoda Kotb has done for the children with cancer at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The video can bring you to tears, just to see these kids dance and jump around, the smiles are so wide and geniune. KUDOS and THANK YOU to those kids, Hoda Kotb, Cyndi Lauper and Sara Bareilles for such a beautiful, uplifting video.

What a great honor for two powerhouse women Cyndi Lauper and Sara Barielles!! I love the mix of the two songs together, AWESOME job. The video was outstanding, love the painting scene and their faces really light up. Hats off to all who created this wonderful video!!!
