I’m 68-years old who grew up on rock and pop music of the 60s & 70s. I don’t know how I stumbled upon Sara several years ago, but she is without doubt one of the most talented singer-songwriters of this century. Her live performances are so flawless and energy-inducing that they raise the hair on the back of my neck. It is clearly apparent that Sara is sincere when she says performing on stage is her greatest relationship. You should read her book and see her tv show as well!! But you are absolutely correct, she is remarkable! If I could have a Patty Griffin and Sara duet, my life would be complete.
Been a Sara fan for 5 years or so, probably more. Went to Broadway to see her star in Waitress. Amazing experience as she is amazing and she hangs with those who are at her level. Beautiful songs with great melodies and changes. What a find! 🎉
@@Drumconnection I’m jealous. I saw Waitress performed in Columbus by the touring cast which was excellent. Went on a pie binge for a week afterward! 😉 BTW, spent my youth and early adulthood as a trained drummer and percussionist.

a universe of talent, wrapped in a drop dead gorgeous package. the voice of an angel. saw and heard her at mohegan sun casino. she van play the Eastman Kodak Theater in Rochester NY , headline our 2021 jazz festival. Just has to say yes!
I saw her at Mohegan Sun too!!! Such a good concert, probably the best one of my life. Satellite Call/No Such Thing was brilliant and impeccably sung. And of course she brought the house down with She Used to be Mine. Hard to believe so much has changed since then. I’d love to see her at the Bushnell. I love her moral compass too. She is just the best. 💜
Sara says that performing, especially in an intimate venue, is her favorite part of... being Sara. It shows here: she really gets juiced by reaching and getting a reaction from her audience!
As a human being it is truly the best thing in life, being so excited about something and sharing that feeling with humanity is the only way I have survived the past 6 years.

@Andrew Brent From her superb 1st major studio album, Little Voice. It’s a total gem. I just discovered it myself a few months ago. DEF worth the $10. But all her albums are gold.

I really don't need to listen to anything - anyone else ever again. You consistently produce beautifully arranged music, words I can relate to, and with a sassy style. In my life, that has rarely happened to me. But I really only watch some news, write music and teach and listen and watch you and go see you in person when I can. I just love you! It's not that big of a deal. Most people that get it have little or no symptoms. It's mostly people that are really old or already sick that can die. And now that they have done more testing they see that the death rate is like a tenth of what they originally thought. They have also been inflating numbers of death by adding in flu deaths and other deaths. For most people it's actually way easier to have than flus and colds. Just mild symptoms instead of horrible cold and flu symptoms. (I most likely had coronavirus too a couple months back).
@Andrew Brent I am not denying the fact that we are dealing with a pandemic and I am not saying the media are not reporting facts either. I am actually a registered democrat voter. Im just saying the media would report statistics (which are still factual) but can catch peoples attention. I do have close relatives that caught covid and recovered and one of them was actually asymptomatic. But again, I am not downplaying this pandemic and I am sure there are people severely ill. But this is the way media reports. Media bias exist on both sides and sometimes, we just have to keep our mind clear and consume daily news carefully. Stay healthy!
Great show. But if I did have one critique... For a very "giving" venue (projection/acoustics wise), whoever worked the sound engineering board for this show really did Sara a disservice. There's almost no low end & no dynamics to the sound here. A place like this should easily have a show with a much more rounded out sound.
No it sounds fantastic. They didn't bloat the bass like almost everyone does now. So people think that is normal and have their system adjusted based on bloated overdone fat bass. It's more realistic and balanced like this. I'm glad they left it the way it is. The quality is very good. I'm listening on audiophile gear. I know it's youtube but it still is great. Sara and her engineers have always had top notch quality. Quality over quantity. I'm actually hearing pretty good amount of bass on my system though, anymore would be overkill. I think the problem you might be having though is that the mix is a bit on the lower side, so you have to turn up the volume, I have it all the way up. That might be just a youtube thing though or whoever ripped the video. Your system doesn't have enough gain to amp it up because of the lower volume mix.
Why is Taylor so much more popular than Sarah ? She is a way better singer and song writer, like buy a huge margin. I guess most people are just airheads and can't see great talent if it slapped them in the face
