Six comedians. Two sides. One topic. One host with not a hope of keeping things under control. It's the 27th annual Great Debate! TOPIC: That everyone's entitled to an opinion.
Seriously, she's so unique. Her comedy is so well thought out. She can make 10 jokes all have a common thread. She's truly brilliant. I love stand up and her sets pull the genuine laughs out of me.
it's not a 'common thread'if the punchline is always the same (i.e: why did the chicken cross the road?To avoid a TOM BALLARD joke....)but i agree, she is hellishly entertaining!
she got heat for this, mainly that it was too silly and wasn't smart enough ( a total bullshit statement on behalf of those giving her the critique ) but she was by far the funniest of any of the panel members. She killed it.
Umm...did these same critics see Joel Creasey and Urzila Carlson?! His entire argument was "Im gay, laugh!" and she just said "fuck anyone who is conservative". They all had funny moments but Sara was by far the funniest and nowhere near the most silly or least intellectual argument.
@@brennenrivera4288 You're just saying the same thing as the critiques by pointing out two of the other contestants. They also all have a theme, nothing wrong with making them centered around sexuality or religion. No need to play favorites, this is a fun event.
*_"Rosa Parks, sitting at the front of the bus. George Orwell, who reported on Stalin. Malala Yousafzai defying the Taliban. The opposing team would silence those brave heroes in the same way they silence their audiences."_* That was very clever. She's good at making arguments and jokes at the same time.
Sorry, to anyone else following her, that I'm like a broken record (that's a pre-CD audio format reference), but I love Sara Pascoe. I love Sara Pascoe.
I really love these debates and Sara really does push it to a whole new level - God in the supermarket - brilliant stuff - truly genius and truly represents freedom of thought, freedom of belief and freedom of speech.
OMG 😳, first time listening to her. Will search for more. Smart, great story teller, pretty but most of all funny 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for making me laugh and smile 🙂.
3.18 where have i heard this voice before? i know i have heard the same voice saying "i think you should shut the fuck up". argh its gonna bother me for the rest of my life
She's definitely funny but I don't like how she focused on burning one person the entire time.... All I'm saying is to spread the fire out to the entire team. It became almost hard to watch....
It's the comedic device of repetition though - do it again to get a laugh, do it again as a call back, do it again and it's less funny, do it again and it's not funny anymore, keep doing it and somehow it becomes funny again via the absurdity of the repetition. It's less about burning one guy than it is about relentless repetition. It doesn't always work, admittedly.
