Men should never pay for dinner on the first date. Always split the bill. If that upsets her and she doesn't want to see you again, then you have dodged a bullet.

Sara has been one of the few women to call out the matter of men being expected to pay the bill on the first date, and also the First Dates TV programme, apart from the occasional actual female dater who says to the guy "don't be daft: here is 50%", without any fuss.
