This is a great tribute. I got to meet Sara when she played a show with Dex in Knoxville, TN about 10 years ago. She was such a sweetheart I will never forget her. Sara is one of those people that will randomly pop in your head just to say hi. The world would be a lot better with more Sara's in it.
I had the opportunity to meet Sara in Los Angeles back in 2011, I was 18 and very shy, but Sara exhibited so much warmth and kindness toward me and others, that I’ve always cherished that moment with her. As a drummer myself, Sara will always be one of my favorite musicians ever. 💙
I never met Sara. just a fan . Every once in a while , I see something, or hear something, or think of something that brings her image into focus in my higher brain. what a hurricane of a drummer.
A very nice tribute to her. I met her a few times, back in the late 90's when I worked in the music department at Best Buy in Durham. She happened to come in one evening when we were playing the first Clarissa cd. She came over all excitedly, and started talking to me about it. We chatted for about a half an hour. After that day, any time she came into the store, she would come over to talk with me. She was so friendly and likeable. I'm still saddened by her passing. Peace, my friend.
Thank you for sharing these precious photographs. I met Sara in 2011 at a show in Pittsburgh. I was blown away with her kindness and excitement at meeting fans. She was like a little kid, so enthusiastic and happy. I will never forget her. 💔
