Great to see the beautiful Queen Sarabi loving wife of King Mufsa and caring mother of Simba, mother in law to Nala and grandmother to Kiara and Kion thanks for sharing this 👍❤️
I really love the moments between Sarabi and her son Simba, 0:33 aww what cuteness! yes, she was a loving mother, and I like how they developed her character more in the 2019 movie: that she really was a queen and a firm leader resisting Scar's tyranny and refusing to be his queen.. I also like her appearance in the musical 1:27 Does she really have a cameo there in The Lion guard? I didn't know
In the 2019 remake she actually has a lot of problems. She's given a bigger role yet she does nothing of remotely helpful. She just sits around to "defend" the Pride Lands when they are already turned into a wasteland with no food and water at the moment and only strikes at Scar too much late. Also what the encouragement she gave Nala to stay here to "fight" against Scar's tyranny was pointless because when Nala left to look for an help she just brought something that saved everyone. There was in short no need of her having a bigger role because Timon & Pumbaa, Mufasa and Rafiki already contributed the plot well. At least the original Sarabi wanted the pride to find a place where there's more food and water.
