I love the way they utilise Sarada's skillset throughout the show, cos when she copies a jutsu...she'll then use those jutsu's throughout the series and I love that.

Yeah these New 7 Swordsmen are basically like those Neo-Confederate types of the USA. People who think their society has left them behind and grown weak, and they want to return to the "good old days" when they have no idea what they're talking about. They're just a group of genin in way over their heads. Though I think Shizuma is a chunin, makes it easier to manipulate them from his position of authority. Buntan might be, too. She seems to be his second-in-command.

Genjutsu doesn't even require the Sharingan. It's just that the Sharingan can cast Genjutsu with the eye of hypnotism.

Its not labelled as even anime canon. Makoto Uezu (the lead writer/series composition up to episode 66) didn't assign it as such.

but it's intentional from the script, it's to show that the current generation doesn't know anything about the past generation and the way they lived if the intention was to make them dangerous, they would have killed someone

15 yrs have passed since 4th great ninja war, all the previous generation people gotten weaker, also don't expect Naruto and Sasuke to be as strong as they were in shippuden😂 or you will be disappointed. Just look fwd to new generation.

Naruto and Sasuke are stronger than they were in Shippuden. Naruto has the full 9 Tails now, so that's already double the power, and then he also has much more experience. They're now stronger than Kaguya, when before they were weaker than her. It's just visually they don't look so impressive. But 90% Shippuden wasn't as visually impressive as 4 tails Naruto vs Orochimaru. Also, Naruto and Sasuke either dominate their opponent or get dominated by them. So it's difficult for them to show off how strong they actually are.

If you compare (anime) boruto part 1 and naruto part 1 you can see the difference boruto anime part 1 is far better than naruto part 1 and manga is on whole another level you can't compare naruto shippuden to to boruto part 1 compare it after time skip
