Lovely video thank you. Hoping to visit Burgas later on in the year and Sarafovo seems like a great place to visit for one day. Greetings from Ireland.
Thoroughly recommend Hotel Briz in old Sarafovo which apparently used to be a fishing village. The beach is gorgeous. They sell cooked corn on the cob which they sell from a bucket... makes a change from chips and ice cream. People are so friendly and helpful. Food delicious.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. My husband and i will be visiting mid Oct. Do you know if it will be too cool to visit the mud flats? Also we will be staying near the port in Burgas. Are the bike rentals very far from there and about how much do they cost?
Thanks so much for watching our videos! By mid-October, the water will be pretty cold, so the mud flats might not be the best option. As for bike rentals, we’re not too sure since we have our own bikes. Just keep in mind the weather can be unpredictable-one day it could rain, and the next day could be sunny. Wishing you a great trip to Burgas!
17:28 If you were talking about the style seen at this point in the video, I would call it more Bulgarian in this case. It takes from the local houses in the middle of the country. Of course, all around Southern Europe the style will be similar in a way. But just if someone is curious, this style of incorporating elements of traditional Bulgarian houses, is pretty fashionable in recent times. This one was made pretty tastefully too, for the size of the buildings..
I don't know if you found the answer to your question already but yes, a foreigner can take a mortgage in Bulgaria. You need to have income in Bulgaria and I would recommend that you investigate the possibility of taking a loan outside of Bulgaria because the generally have a pretty high interest rates.
