Kero Kero Bonito is my favorite band of all time, and everything that has come from them (KKB, side projects related to the band such as Cryalot) is some of my all time favorite music, really cool to see the progression of this band over the years

I think the kane west and wharfwhit stuff has been cool but I never really connected with them / it never felt like Gus and Jamie were putting their all into those projects, this Cryalot project does feel more substantial. Very excited for anything the members are doing tho

Small piece of feedback - I think sometimes you ask too many leading questions. Example right off the bat: "why did you start this solo project" would have sufficed, the other stuff makes it seem like you're trying to get a certain answer out of the guest. But I'm also just a random idiot, so not sure how useful my feedback is. Good guest, thanks for the content as always!

I think asking broad questions can be lead to some open ended answers but I think with that specific question he gives her a lot of avenues to approach answering the question. Because as a guest you may feel it difficult to approach a broad question without dragging it on, forgetting details, or overall missing the picture you otherwise would’ve painted had you had that extra nudge from the interviewer

Hearing the rest of Cryalot's currently released tracks makes me wonder why they led with their least casual listener friendly track. Touch the Sun and Labyrinth are both great. Sarah and the gang's work outside of the main KKB tracks have skewed so heavily into...noise territory that I was afraid the entire Icarus EP was going to be like Hell is Here.
